Training on digital transformation in the education sector for commune and ward officials

On September 26, the Department of Education and Training (DoET) of Tuyen Quang organized a digital transformation training conference for officials of communes and wards in the province.

The conference will take place over one day at two locations: Restaurant 123 (Nguyen Van Linh Street, Ha Giang 1 Ward) and the Provincial Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities (Group 9, Nong Tien Ward). This activity is part of Plan No. 33/KH-SGDĐT dated September 24, 2025, implementing the digital transformation goals and Project 06 of the Education sector.

According to the plan, each commune will send two representatives, including an officer from the Department of Culture and Social Affairs in charge of education and a manager or teacher with information technology skills; each ward will send a minimum of three representatives. In addition, high schools, boarding schools for ethnic minorities, and some units under the Department will also send database administrators to participate.

During the training, participants received guidance from IT experts on using the education sector's database software at the commune and ward levels; managing personnel records, facilities, and updating student and teacher data at all levels; assigning user permissions, accessing reports, and performing personal identification statistics; and checking the quality of data on school networks, facilities, and academic results.

The conference helped grassroots officials master data management tools and form a core team to provide technical support to schools and localities, contributing to improving the effectiveness of digital transformation throughout the education sector.

The training is expected to help the Tuyen Quang Education sector synchronize digital data, increase accuracy and timeliness in management and direction, and move towards building a modern education system that adapts to digital transformation.
