Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Tuan Sinh visited the heroic martyrs who died on the Dien Bien Phu battlefield.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Tuan Sinh and members of the delegation expressed their gratitude to the nation's outstanding sons who fought bravely and sacrificed, contributing to the Dien Bien Phu victory that resounded throughout the five continents and shook the world.

Comrade Trinh Tuan Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, respectfully arranged the wreath to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at A1 cemetery.

On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023), on the afternoon of July 13, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province, led by comrade Trinh Tuan Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, came to offer flowers and incense to the heroic martyrs at the A1 martyrs' cemetery and B142 Construction Site in Dien Bien province.

Delegations of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa and Dien Bien provinces visited A1 martyrs' cemetery.

The delegation included members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Le Tien Lam, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Ngoc Tien, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; representatives of the Departments of Transport, Information and Communications, Justice, Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Police; the Provincial Veterans Association and the Provincial Party Committee Office.

Delegations of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa and Dien Bien provinces commemorated the heroic martyrs at A1 cemetery.

Attending the funeral ceremony, on the side of Dien Bien province, there were leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, along with leaders of provincial departments, agencies and branches.

Coming to lay wreaths and offer incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the A1 martyrs cemetery, where about 640 martyrs from Thanh Hoa are resting, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and members of the delegation took a minute to commemorate and express gratitude to the brave and heroic examples of fighting and sacrificing for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people, contributing to the Dien Bien Phu victory that is famous in five continents and shook the world.

Comrade Trinh Tuan Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and provincial leaders offered incense to the martyrs' graves at A1 cemetery, Dien Bien Phu city, Dien Bien province.

Comrade Trinh Tuan Sinh, Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, offered incense to each martyr's grave.

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tien, Standing Committee Member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission, offered incense at the martyrs' graves.

Next, the delegation laid wreaths and offered incense at the B142 Construction Site Martyrs Cemetery. Among the 56 martyrs' graves here, there are 24 martyrs from Thanh Hoa who sacrificed their blood and youth to open roads, ensuring smooth routes during the Vietnam-Laos resistance war against the US and to participate in traffic projects in Laos.

In front of the heroic martyrs, the Party Committee, government, army and people of all ethnic groups in Thanh Hoa province vow to continue to uphold the tradition of solidarity, promote the spirit of self-reliance, maximize the attention and support of the Central Government and external resources to resolutely achieve the goals of the entire 2020-2025 term; Resolution No. 58 of the 12th Politburo; Resolution No. 37 of the 15th National Assembly, to become a growth pole in the North of the Fatherland.

Comrade Dinh Tien Phong, Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Association, offered incense at the martyrs' graves.

Comrade Le Van Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, burned incense at the martyrs' graves.

B142 Construction Site Cemetery is cared for and maintained by the Party Committee and People of Dien Bien province.

After the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Tuan Sinh and members of the delegation lit incense on the martyrs' graves.
