On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023), on the afternoon of July 13, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province, led by comrade Trinh Tuan Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, came to offer flowers and incense to the heroic martyrs at the A1 martyrs' cemetery and B142 Construction Site in Dien Bien province.

The delegation included members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Le Tien Lam, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Ngoc Tien, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; representatives of the Departments of Transport, Information and Communications, Justice, Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Police; the Provincial Veterans Association and the Provincial Party Committee Office.

Attending the funeral ceremony, on the side of Dien Bien province, there were leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, along with leaders of provincial departments, agencies and branches.

Coming to lay wreaths and offer incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the A1 martyrs cemetery, where about 640 martyrs from Thanh Hoa are resting, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and members of the delegation took a minute to commemorate and express gratitude to the brave and heroic examples of fighting and sacrificing for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people, contributing to the Dien Bien Phu victory that is famous in five continents and shook the world.

Among the 56 martyrs' graves here, there are 24 martyrs from Thanh Hoa who sacrificed their blood and youth to open roads, ensuring smooth routes during the Vietnam-Laos resistance war against the US and to participate in traffic projects in Laos.

In front of the heroic martyrs, the Party Committee, government, army and people of all ethnic groups in Thanh Hoa province vow to continue to uphold the tradition of solidarity, promote the spirit of self-reliance, maximize the attention and support of the Central Government and external resources to resolutely achieve the goals of the entire 2020-2025 term; Resolution No. 58 of the 12th Politburo; Resolution No. 37 of the 15th National Assembly, to become a growth pole in the North of the Fatherland.
