On July 17, Mr. Dang Van Chinh - Permanent Vice Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee, together with leaders of provincial departments and branches, had a meeting and worked with the delegation of the Swiss - Vietnam Economic Forum (SVEF), to discuss the orientations and areas of cooperation in 2025 and the coming time.

Ms. Rachel Isensehmid - General Secretary of SVEF, head of the delegation, thanked Vinh Long province for the warm welcome. Sharing information that SVEF will organize an event in Da Nang in November, Ms. Rachel Isensehmid said that she wanted to have an exchange and connection with Vinh Long before this event took place. At the same time, she hoped that the province would provide more information about the projects and programs that the province is planning to implement so that the two sides can have more in-depth meetings and exchanges.

Expressing his joy in welcoming the delegation, Mr. Dang Van Chinh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that this visit is an opportunity for both sides to consolidate the good results from the working trip of Vinh Long province to Switzerland in June 2025.

Introducing the delegation to the potentials, advantages and areas in which the province wishes to cooperate with Swiss partners, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dang Van Chinh hoped that this visit would open up many new cooperation opportunities, helping Swiss partners realize the strong potential for cooperation in Vinh Long. Vinh Long is committed to creating all favorable conditions for partners to implement programs and projects in the province, contributing to the sustainable development of both sides.

Switzerland currently has no investment projects in Vinh Long province. In recent years, many Swiss business delegations and working delegations have come to Vinh Long to conduct field surveys and explore investment opportunities. Vinh Long province has also organized investment promotion delegations in Switzerland, aiming to open up cooperation opportunities between the two sides in the coming time.
