Attending the Congress were Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and 295 delegates representing the great national unity bloc in the province.
“Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity”
The 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ninh Thuan province, term 2024 - 2029, took place in the context of the entire Party Committee, the entire army and the entire people in the province striving to successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress and the targets and tasks of socio-economic development in the 5 years (2021 - 2025).
With the spirit of “Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Breakthrough - Creativity”, the Congress summarized and evaluated the activities of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in the past term with many outstanding results. Specifically, the Provincial Fatherland Front at all levels has proactively innovated the content, improved the quality and effectiveness of propaganda, mobilization, gathering people of all walks of life, consolidating and promoting the strength of great national unity.
The Fatherland Front from the province to the grassroots has many innovations in organizing social security activities and mobilizing resources to care for the poor; organizing many activities and forums "Listening to the voices of the poor" associated with the annual launching ceremony to support the "For the Poor" Fund, creating a widespread and effective impact.
During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province mobilized and received support of over 126.4 billion VND; built and repaired over 1,100 houses for poor and near-poor households and repaired over 2,300 houses for people affected by natural disasters and climate change.
The Ninh Thuan Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also demonstrated determination, creativity, and mobilized the intellectual strength, enthusiasm, and responsibility of retired cadres, advisory councils, experts, and intellectuals to effectively carry out social criticism work in an in-depth, focused, and key direction, contributing to creating consensus among the people, while improving the quality and feasibility of policies and guidelines when issued.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh, Secretary of Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee, warmly praised the achievements that the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province had achieved and affirmed that the development achievements of the province had the positive and effective contributions of the Fatherland Front at all levels and all classes of people, which is a testament to the solidarity, consensus and high determination of the Party Committee, government and people of the province, striving to build a Ninh Thuan that develops quickly and sustainably.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh also requested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province continue to closely follow the political tasks of the province, annually develop a coordinated program of specific and practical actions to meet the living needs of the people and for the common development of the province.
Need innovation
In her speech directing the Congress, Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Anh highly appreciated the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province in the past term for closely following the direction and guidance of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress to innovate and create with many contents and methods of operation and achieve many impressive results, being a bright spot in implementing new and arising tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Anh also hopes that in the coming term, the Ninh Thuan Provincial Fatherland Front, 11th tenure, will continue to have many breakthroughs that bring more practical results. Continue to closely follow and realize the Party's guiding viewpoints, especially the viewpoints, goals, tasks and solutions stipulated in Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to promote the tradition and strength of great national unity, building our country to be more and more prosperous and happy.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province needs to focus on directing and implementing drastically, ensuring the effectiveness of the proposed groups of solutions in accordance with the conditions, resources and practical situation in the locality; in particular, focusing on implementing two new contents: the emulation movement of the whole country joining hands to "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025 launched by the Prime Minister and the 6th action program on building self-governing, united, prosperous and happy residential areas. Continue to concretize Directive No. 18-CT/TW dated October 26, 2022 of the Secretariat on promoting the role, improving the quality and effectiveness of the supervision and social criticism work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations.
Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Anh also requested that the Party Committees and authorities at all levels of Ninh Thuan province continue to pay closer attention so that the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province can operate effectively. Member organizations of the Provincial Front need to continue to closely coordinate and unify actions, seriously and qualitatively implement the Action Program of the member organizations in particular and the Action Program set forth by the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, contributing to the successful implementation of the political tasks of the province and the whole country.
Receiving the direction of the leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the province, the Congress discussed and agreed to propose 6 action programs for the new term 2024-2029 with the goal of continuing to enhance the core political role and responsibility of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province in building the great national unity bloc, strengthening social consensus; arousing the tradition of patriotism, national pride, belief and aspiration to develop Ninh Thuan into a rich, civilized, prosperous and happy one;...
At the Congress, the delegates also elected the 11th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, consisting of 88 members, and the 11th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Standing Committee, consisting of 8 members; and elected a delegation to attend the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term, consisting of 6 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates. Mr. Le Van Binh, Chairman of the 10th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, was re-elected as Chairman of the 11th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term.
On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, awarded the First Class Labor Medal awarded by the President to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province for its outstanding achievements in work from 2019 to 2023, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland. Vice President Truong Thi Ngoc Anh also presented a certificate of merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to Mr. Le Van Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for his outstanding achievements in the work of the Front for the term 2019-2024.
