At the meeting, leaders of the two localities reported on the results of implementing the two-level local government model after the merger. Notable among them were the reception and implementation of directives from higher levels; progress in arranging the apparatus and personnel; the provision of offices, equipment and IT infrastructure to serve the management and settlement of administrative procedures; and the dissemination and guidance of people on transaction locations and new administrative procedures, etc., which were implemented synchronously.

However, the locality still has some difficulties, such as: Lack of resources to invest in infrastructure, unstable network connection in some places, uneven human resources...

Comrade Le Van Phuoc praised the sense of responsibility of local officials and civil servants in the initial phase of operating the new model. Thereby, he requested localities to regularly inspect and monitor the performance of units, especially commune-level public administrative service centers, to better serve people and businesses.

After the merger, localities have operated smoothly and effectively public administrative service centers.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant departments and branches to promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee on continuing to invest and equip suitable facilities for localities; promote the application of information technology in management and work handling; focus on receiving people, resolving complaints and denunciations; build a public and transparent administration to serve the people better and better.
