Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Van Thach congratulates the Lang Son Bishop's Palace on Christmas

On December 18, the provincial delegation led by Mr. Hoang Van Thach, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited, presented gifts and wished Christmas at the Bishop's Palace of Lang Son province. Accompanying them were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Department of Home Affairs, and the Provincial Police.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Van Thach provided an overview of some of the province's outstanding achievements. Accordingly, in 2023, the province's socio -economic situation will continue to be stable and develop with many bright spots compared to 2022. Ethnic policies and programs and projects to support ethnic minorities of the Party and Government will be implemented synchronously and effectively, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people. Foreign affairs will be promoted, national defense and security will be ensured. In particular, the Prime Minister has approved the Cao Bang Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050; approved the project and allocated capital to implement the Dong Dang (Lang Son) - Tra Linh (Cao Bang) Expressway Investment Project, etc.

These achievements are thanks to the efforts, joint efforts and consensus of the entire Party, people, army and political system, including the important contributions of a part of Catholic followers in Cao Bang province.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Van Thach presented flowers and gifts from Cao Bang province to the Lang Son Bishop's Palace. At the same time, he sent best wishes to the dignitaries and all parishioners for a peaceful and happy Christmas and a prosperous and healthy New Year. He hoped that in the coming time, the Bishop and priests would continue to pay attention to parishes in the province, helping Catholics have the conditions to take care of their religion, fulfill their life's work, and contribute with the government and people to build Cao Bang into a civilized and prosperous province.

On behalf of the Diocese of Lang Son - Cao Bang, Bishop Chau Ngoc Tri expressed his deep gratitude for the attention of the Cao Bang provincial leaders to the Diocese's Bishop's House and the parishioners. At the same time, he affirmed to continue to propagate and mobilize parishioners to comply with the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, contributing to the successful implementation of the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security in the locality.
