At the schools, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan inspected the situation and listened to school leaders report on difficulties and problems in implementing 2-session teaching/day and organizing boarding.
Ho Thi Ky High School is a two-level school, so the number of students is quite large. This school year, the school has more than 3,800 students. To ensure teaching 2 sessions/day, the school proposed to build 20 more classrooms.
For Nguyen Tao Primary School, the school is lacking dormitories and a dining hall for students. Le Quy Don High School has more than 1,600 students and more than 900 are boarding students. Currently, the school is lacking 20 dormitories for students.
Ngo Quyen Secondary School has some collapsed classrooms, so it needs to invest, upgrade and build some additional facilities to reach national standards level 2.

Through the survey, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan acknowledged the opinions of the schools and directed An Xuyen ward to review the public land fund in the area to expand the area for Ho Thi Ky High School, Nguyen Tao Primary School and build a new Son Ca Kindergarten. For Ngo Quyen Secondary School, review the items that need investment and upgrading and report to the Department of Education and Training to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration of investment and upgrading policies.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed that schools must build clean, friendly toilets and equip clean water systems for teachers and students. For boarding schools, schools must ensure that meals for students are nutritious and keep samples according to regulations.
