On the afternoon of July 18, Mr. Tran Hoa Nam - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments and branches had a meeting and worked with HD Huyndai Group led by Mr. Lee Sang Kyun - CEO of HD Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. At the meeting, the leaders of HD Huyndai Group expressed their appreciation for the support of the provincial leaders for HD Hyundai Mipo Co., Ltd. in general and HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in particular over the past 30 years, creating many favorable conditions for the company in long-term production and business activities. With its strength in the field of shipbuilding, the group proposed to expand the factory of HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in Khanh Hoa ; at the same time, the orientation is to build ships using environmentally friendly materials. The group hopes to continue to receive the attention and support of the province to help the company grow in the future; committed to using local labor resources to contribute to creating jobs and improving the lives of workers in the area.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam thanked the contributions of HD Hyundai Mipo Co., Ltd. in general and HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in particular to the development of the locality. Provincial leaders always pay attention to the development of the company. Immediately after the merger, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee visited and worked with large enterprises located in the area, including HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. The province has accepted the company's proposal to expand the factory and is assigning relevant units to coordinate in implementing the procedures. With the orientation of industrial development as one of the four pillars of economic development, provincial leaders hope that HD Huyndai Group will introduce and connect Korean investors to Khanh Hoa province to research and promote investment projects in the province in the coming time.
