Deputy Head of Hanoi Police Club did not comply with VPF's penalty

Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) requested the Disciplinary Board of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to take disciplinary action against Mr. Le Xuan Hai - Deputy Head of the Hanoi Police Club for violating the VFF's disciplinary regulations for people suspended from duty.

According to the match supervisor's report between Nam Dinh Club and Hanoi Police Club in round 5 of V.League 2023/24, Mr. Hai deliberately participated in activities before and after the match despite being reminded of the ban.

Previously, the Deputy Head of the Hanoi Police Club received 3 yellow cards after 4 rounds of V.League 2023/24 and was suspended from duty in round 5, in the match between Nam Dinh Club and Hanoi Police Club at Thien Truong Stadium. However, Mr. Hai still appeared in the restricted areas even though he was not allowed to be on duty.

The match between Nam Dinh FC and Hanoi Police FC ended in a 2-2 draw. Bui Hoang Viet Anh and Nguyen Quang Hai helped the away team take the lead. Rafaelson scored a brace late in the match to keep 1 point at Thien Truong Stadium.

Also in the fierce match at Thien Truong Stadium, VPF proposed to additionally punish coach Gong Oh-kyun (Hanoi Police Club) and defender Tran Van Kien (Nam Dinh Club). In the 33rd minute, coach Gong Oh-kyun prevented Van Kien from putting the ball into play while the right to throw-in belonged to Nam Dinh Club.

After that, Van Kien reacted to the opponent's coach. Believing that Van Kien had just hit him, Mr. Gong Oh-kyun took off his shirt and reacted strongly to the player from Nam Dinh Club.

According to VPF, the actions of both sides have affected the overall image of the tournament. Therefore, VPF decided to propose to the VFF Disciplinary Board to impose additional penalties.

At Quy Nhon Stadium, the Deputy Head of the Binh Dinh Club and the doctor of Thanh Hoa Club were both proposed to be additionally punished for their actions that provoked the fans. Among them, Mr. Bui Vu Viet Tuan was proposed to be severely disciplined.

This official committed many violations, which were the main cause of the chaos and reactions between members of the two clubs, causing agitation and leading to a series of reactions from the audience.
