Deputy Prime Minister: Prepare carefully, solemnly and safely for the Closing Ceremony of the National Achievement Exhibition

On the afternoon of September 11, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh - Head of the Steering Committee for the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day chaired a meeting with ministries, branches and agencies on the work of summarizing, rewarding and closing the Exhibition.

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh chaired a meeting with ministries, branches and agencies on the work of summarizing, rewarding and closing the National Achievements Exhibition.

According to the report of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Exhibition of National Achievements on the 80th Anniversary of National Day, with the theme "80 Years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" officially opened for free to serve the people and visitors from August 28.

During 13 days, from August 28 to September 9, the number of visitors to the Exhibition is estimated at 6,680,000, of which during peak times, there were days when the number reached more than 1 million visitors.

During the exhibition, many international delegations visited the exhibition, such as: Lao high-ranking delegation (led by General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith); Cambodian high-ranking delegation (led by President of the Cambodian People's Party and President of the Cambodian Senate Hun Sen); Russian, Lao, Cambodian and Cuban military delegations; delegations of embassies of various countries...

The fact that the Exhibition has attracted the attention of a large number of people and visitors is a great joy and encouragement for the Organizing Committee and the units participating in the Exhibition; proving the professionalism, modernity, attractive, rich and lively content and form of the Exhibition.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong - Permanent Deputy Head of the Exhibition Organizing Committee reported at the meeting.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day also reported on the preparations for the closing ceremony of the Exhibition, as well as the emulation and reward work.

Representatives of ministries, branches and localities contributed their opinions on the closing ceremony program; agreed on the proposal to increase the number of certificates of merit and appropriate forms of rewards for groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing and participating in the Exhibition.

After listening to the opinions of the Steering Committee members and the opinions of the ministries and branches, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the Steering Committee members, ministries, branches, and localities for their strong leadership and direction in participating in the Exhibition, good coordination of assigned tasks, and the products on display were recognized and highly appreciated by the people, creating good effects and spread.

Over the past two weeks, since its opening, the Exhibition has attracted a great deal of attention from the public and visitors, with nearly 7 million visitors. The work has been carried out with a spirit of urgency and seriousness, meeting the set schedule, thoroughly implementing the direction of the General Secretary and Prime Minister, and meeting the needs of the people.

"This is a great joy and encouragement for the Steering Committee, the Organizing Committee, as well as the ministries, branches, agencies, localities, and units participating in the Exhibition. The Exhibition's content is professional, the form is both modern and traditional, the content is rich and vivid," said the Deputy Prime Minister.

Based on the report of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the opinions of the comrades in the Steering Committee, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Government Office to preside over the drafting of the meeting's conclusion notice for promulgation and unified implementation. At the same time, he noted the following tasks:

Firstly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism shall preside over and closely coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to prepare the content and best conditions to organize the closing ceremony of the Exhibition according to the approved program and script, ensuring the scale of the event, solemnity, efficiency, safety and economy.

Second, prepare a Summary Report, which comprehensively, objectively, and deeply evaluates outstanding results, causes, and lessons learned to make upcoming events better. If you have done well, do it even better.

Deputy Prime Minister: Preparations for the closing ceremony must be carried out carefully, safely, solemnly and economically.

Urgently complete, approve scoring, select typical exhibition spaces, certificates from the Organizing Committee for units participating in the Exhibition and accompanying gifts.

Prepare reception, logistics, and delegation reception plans, ensuring formality, politeness, and compliance with state protocol and diplomatic protocol.

For documents and exhibits, each ministry, sector and locality coordinates in archiving work.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to prepare programs and scripts for the closing ceremony and report to the Prime Minister.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs presides over inviting international guests and embassies in Hanoi to attend the closing ceremony and confirm their attendance, compile and send the list of international guests to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Public Security to ensure safety during the reception. Arrange interpreters to welcome international guests and carry out diplomatic reception work at the closing ceremony.

The Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Health, and the Hanoi People's Committee ensure security, order, safety, and health care for the closing ceremony.

The Ministry of Home Affairs shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure emulation and reward for collectives with the highest possible number, and at the same time guide ministries, branches, localities and enterprises to continue to have forms of individual rewards according to their authority.

Vietnam Television and Voice of Vietnam will coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to organize live radio and television broadcasts of the closing ceremony of the Exhibition, ensuring quality and effectiveness.

Vingroup Corporation closely coordinates with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to prepare facilities, reception, logistics, and welcome delegates as required.

Ministries, branches and localities organize payment settlement in accordance with regulations, effectively, strictly ensuring no loss or waste.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the closing ceremony is not only a ritual to conclude an event, but also an opportunity to summarize, learn from experience, and do better what has been done well, as well as an opportunity to spread the message of the Exhibition's success. Therefore, preparations for the closing ceremony must be carried out carefully, safely, solemnly, economically, but must ensure the national stature.

The Deputy Prime Minister believes that with careful preparation and the participation of members of the Steering Committee and relevant units, the closing ceremony of the Exhibition will leave a deep impression, contributing to the complete success of the National Achievements Exhibition, consolidating the firm belief to bring the Country into a new era, an era of wealth, prosperity and happiness.
