The national exhibition "95 Years of the Party Flag Guiding the Way," covering a total area of over 10,000 m², is designed in a spiral corridor model with 6 exhibition zones, and has been providing a truly unique historical experience.

Among them, Sector 3, with the theme "The Party's Leadership in the Victorious Resistance: Nine Glorious Years Ending Old-Style Colonialism (1945-1954)," is truly a breathtaking highlight, vividly recreating a tragic yet glorious chapter in the history of the Vietnamese nation.

Section 3 takes visitors back to the period 1945-1954, a time led by the brilliant leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam to defeat French colonialism and American intervention. This is not only a historical journey for Vietnam but also a symbol for oppressed peoples around the world.

A critical situation (1945): After independence, Vietnam faced three major threats: famine, illiteracy, and foreign invasion. Chiang Kai-shek's troops poured into the north, while the French colonialists, aided by the British, returned to invade the south, beginning the war on the night of September 22nd and the morning of September 23rd, 1945, in Saigon. In this situation, President Ho Chi Minh outlined six urgent tasks: combating famine, fighting illiteracy, holding general elections, eradicating outdated customs, abolishing unreasonable taxes, and declaring freedom of religion.

Simultaneously waging resistance and nation-building: The Indochinese Communist Party, despite declaring its "dissolution" to avoid the enemy's spearhead, continued to operate secretly. It issued the Directive "On Resistance and National Construction" on November 25, 1945, defining the task of consolidating the government and fighting the French with the slogan "The nation above all. The fatherland above all." The general election to elect the National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on January 6, 1946, demonstrated the strength of national unity, and President Ho Chi Minh was elected Chairman.

Through a historical reenactment, the audience relived the period: The "Peace for Progress" policy: Our Party skillfully pursued a policy of appeasement with France to eliminate the more dangerous enemy, Chiang Kai-shek's forces, and to prepare our own forces. The Preliminary Agreement of March 6, 1946, and the Franco-Vietnamese Provisional Agreement of September 14, 1946, although not achieving complete results at the Fontainebleau Conference, demonstrated goodwill for peace and extended a valuable period of truce.

The immortal call for national resistance: As France's ambitions became increasingly apparent, the Standing Committee of the Central Party Committee issued the Directive "All People Resist." On December 19, 1946, President Ho Chi Minh issued the call: "We would rather sacrifice everything than lose our country, than be enslaved." This call ignited the fighting spirit of the entire nation, with the self-sacrificing soldiers of Hanoi embracing three-pronged bombs to stop enemy tanks.

Visitors are captivated by the historical reenactments at Zone 3, which showcase pivotal military campaigns under the wise leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh. The glorious pinnacle: the Dien Bien Phu Victory. Zone 3 meticulously depicts the Dien Bien Phu Victory, a victory "renowned throughout the world and shaking the earth."

Section 3, along with the entire exhibition, is expected to utilize modern technologies such as AR, 3D, and holograms to vividly recreate each historical period. This allows viewers, especially the younger generation, to "touch" history and better understand the sacrifices and contributions of their ancestors. Visitors can also explore the space online through a 3D 360° digital exhibition version, featuring valuable artifacts such as President Ho Chi Minh's will, a crashed B-52, and the first revolutionary newspapers, all scanned in 3D to realistically recreate them on a digital platform. As visitors have commented, technology does not diminish the sacredness of history but rather helps the younger generation understand and feel more proud.

With its rich exhibits and modern presentation, Zone 3 is not just an exhibition area but also a profound history lesson, inspiring patriotism and national pride in all generations. Visitors can choose from in-depth sessions for those deeply interested in history, or more accessible sessions suitable for young people and the general public, along with talk shows and seminars led by experts. Zone 3 in "95 Years of the Party Flag Guiding the Way" is a must-see destination, where the glorious past is vividly recreated, affirming the great leadership role of the Party and the immortal spirit of the Vietnamese nation.
