In response to market demands, craft village production facilities apply modern technology in manufacturing and design.
In particular, from 2023, the craft village will coordinate with relevant units to apply blockchain 4.0 technology to Non Nuoc stone art products. This is also the first craft village in the country to attach blockchain chips to traditional handicraft products.
Artisan Mai Thanh Thien (Non Nuoc craft village) said that currently, unique, high-value works (about 500 million VND or more) of the craft village are all equipped with blockchain chips.
With this chip, visitors can scan their smartphones to see all information about the product, from the time of importing raw materials to the time of production; detailed information about the author, the meaning of the work, the production location...
“We hope the government will continue to support the craft village so that more products can be embedded with chips, contributing to promoting Non Nuoc stone carving to global friends,” artisan Mai Thanh Thien shared.
For the craft industry in general, the situation of copying works happens very quickly. Therefore, embedding chips not only advertises the product and the author for life, but also increases the value of the product and the attractiveness of the craft village.

According to Mr. Luu Van Tam Anh, Deputy Director of the Ngu Hanh Son Ward Public Service Supply Center, stone carving establishments and artisans are very supportive and have registered to attach chips to their products.
Currently, the village’s exported products have been equipped with chips. Buyers and collectors can rest assured about the quality and unique value of these products.
“To preserve traditional professions, many establishments send their children to study software technology, fine arts, etc. Young people who are properly trained will work faster and more effectively than before.
They research beautiful products with diverse sizes, film and take photos themselves, interpret information and put it into the blockchain chip attached to the product, contributing to raising the value of the craft village," said Mr. Tam Anh.
