The working delegation inspected and worked on the progress of the trade union social housing project under the Trade Union's institutional construction project at My Tho industrial park in Trung An industrial cluster (Dong Thap province).

Here, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh welcomed the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for building the trade union institution. Up to now, the project has basically been implemented on schedule. The investor has coordinated with the construction unit to speed up the progress, working in 3 shifts but ensuring quality, labor safety, and environmental sanitation; and putting it into use must be for the right subjects.

The project will meet the practical housing needs, contributing to realizing the dream of "settling down and having a career" of workers and laborers in Dong Thap province; helping workers feel secure in their work, stay committed and devoted to the enterprise, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

The project was approved by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to adjust the project, with main items including: 4 blocks of 8-storey housing, with a total floor area of over ^38,460m2 ; 526 self-contained apartments for rent, with basic equipment and furniture such as: elevator, bed, wardrobe, kitchen cabinet... and 2 2-storey garages, with a total floor area of ^1,200m2 .

The total investment of the project is nearly 450 billion VND. The housing project and other items of the project are expected to be put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2026.

After inspecting the Public Administration Service Center of Dao Thanh Ward and working with the Party Committee and People's Committee of Dao Thanh Ward (Dong Thap Province), Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the entire political system of the ward in overcoming difficulties and operating the apparatus well after the merger. Up to now, the locality has handled administrative procedures of the people well, especially online records.

In the coming time, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh requested that localities must lead and direct to successfully complete the targets assigned by the province; perfect the organizational apparatus, including some lacking staff, especially positions in charge of land, natural resources, environment, construction, etc.

Local leaders must arrange competent staff in the right positions; promptly resolve policies for the subjects to be streamlined after the merger. In addition, Dao Thanh ward needs to arrange public assets reasonably to avoid waste.
