* On the morning of August 25, right after the meeting at the Forward Command Center in Military Region 4, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha directly went to Ha Tinh province to inspect the work of preventing and fighting storm No. 5. Accompanying him were representatives of the leadership of Military Region 4, Ha Tinh province and functional agencies.
At the Hoi Thong sea dike (Dan Hai commune, Ha Tinh province), one of the coastal vulnerable points, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and the working delegation inspected the actual dike reinforcement work in heavy rain and strong winds. More than 200 officers and soldiers of the Ha Tinh provincial armed forces, along with militia and youth union members, are urgently transporting materials, reinforcing the dike roof, and inserting sandbags to prevent landslides, ensuring safety before the storm makes landfall.
