Speaking at the forum, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha affirmed that this is a historic moment for the world to quickly innovate and transform the economy from brown to green, in which science and technology are the “vaccine” in the journey of responding to climate change and green transformation. The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that developed countries need to take the lead in inventing inventions and developing science and technology to produce green products, such as green hydrogen, storage infrastructure, transportation and production with low emissions and environmentally friendly.

The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam is ready to work with other countries to establish a cooperation model between developed and developing countries for green transformation. As one of the three countries implementing the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) with the developed industrial countries (G7), Vietnam promotes a mechanism to mobilize green finance. Accordingly, capital from the government plays a leading role, directing private investment sources to realize the goals of emission reduction, green transformation and sustainable development.

In addition, according to the Deputy Prime Minister, the greening of investment and trade needs to ensure fairness. Countries need to act together, achieve common goals while taking into account differences in development levels, economic scale and adaptability of countries. Developed countries need to provide financial, technological and human resource support to developing countries to catch up with global green standards and norms. Assessing science and technology as the "vaccine" in the journey of responding to climate change and green transformation, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested that developed countries need to take the lead in inventing and developing science and technology to produce green products such as green hydrogen, low-emission, environmentally friendly storage, transportation and production infrastructure. After the forum, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and the Vietnamese delegation visited the exhibition area of nearly 40 Vietnamese enterprises at the Fair.
