On the afternoon of July 21, at the headquarters of the Central External Relations Commission, a conference was held to coordinate the implementation of foreign affairs work in 2023 between the Central External Relations Commission, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee, and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations.
Comrades: Le Hoai Trung, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations; Bui Thanh Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Vu Hai Ha, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for External Relations; Nguyen Phuong Nga, President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations , co-chaired the Conference.

The conference assessed that, in the context of the rapidly and complicated developments in the world and the region, the foreign policy of the 13th National Party Congress continued to be proactively, effectively, synchronously and comprehensively implemented in all pillars and fields. Contributing to that common achievement was the close and effective coordination between the Central Foreign Affairs Commission, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, especially in research and strategic consulting; implementing foreign affairs activities, especially high-level foreign affairs activities, handling emerging foreign affairs issues and coordinating in building and implementing resolutions, directives, conclusions and projects of the Party on foreign affairs.
The conference discussed many directions and measures to strengthen coordination between the four agencies in the coming time to effectively implement foreign affairs tasks in the last 6 months of 2023, successfully implementing the foreign affairs policy of the 13th National Party Congress.
