Photo "Special makeup style of Myanmar women" by author Truong Cong Luc won first prize
The ASEAN Beauty - Vietnam Imprint photo contest is jointly organized by the Vietnam - Southeast Asia Friendship Association of Ho Chi Minh City (VAFA), the Institute for Cultural Exchange with France (IDÉCAF) and artLIVE, open to all people living in Vietnam, regardless of age or nationality.
This is one of the activities to celebrate the 58th anniversary of the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the 30th anniversary of Vietnam's official accession to ASEAN.
According to the organizers, after a period of launching, more than 50 authors submitted over 200 photos to the contest, taken in 10 ASEAN member countries, demonstrating the spirit of connection and cultural exchange in the region.
In addition to majestic natural images; architectural works bearing strong cultural and historical imprints; the authors also send simple everyday moments about the life and people of East Asia.

The organizers awarded first prize to author Truong Cong Luc with the photo Special makeup style of Myanmar women , taken in Myanmar.
Second prize went to author Nguyen Thi Hong Lan with the photo Lighting up the Buddha Cave , also taken in Myanmar.
Two third prizes were awarded to author Cao Thi Thanh Ha ( Ho Chi Minh City - taken in Vietnam) and author Nguyen Thu Dung ( Timestamps , taken in Cambodia).
Five consolation prizes were awarded to the authors: Huynh Buu Tinh ( Water Bridge Festival - Bac Giang , taken in Vietnam); Tong Tran Son ( Singapore Fireworks , taken in Singapore); Tran Kim Phung ( Peace , taken in Indonesia); Do Trong Danh ( Land of Golden Pagodas , taken in Thailand); Huynh Quang Ngoc ( Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque , taken in Brunei).
The photo exhibition of the same name ASEAN Beauty - Vietnam's Imprint took place at the Institute for Cultural Exchange with France IDÉCAF (HCMC) introducing award-winning photos and many other beautiful images.
The exhibition is free of charge from now until September 5.
