May 9, 1945 was the day the Soviet Red Army and its allies forced Nazi Germany to surrender unconditionally, which laid the foundation for defeating fascism on a global scale and restoring world peace . It was thought that after the above defeat, fascism and extreme nationalism would be completely pushed back. However, at present, there are still plots to promote the formation of extreme nationalism, narrow-minded nationalism, causing division, inciting ethnic hatred within countries and causing instability, creating the risk of conflict and war on an international scale. Therefore, it is necessary to be extremely sober-minded to avoid becoming a victim of dark plots.
Cause division and weaken nations
Extreme nationalism or narrow nationalism is the ideological tendency to absolutize the value of one's own nation, placing one's own nation at the highest position in the entire value system, leading to xenophobia, conceit, prejudice, discrimination, hatred, suspicion of other nations, and willingness to cause damage to other nations. On the international level, extreme nationalism easily leads to isolationist, localist, selfish tendencies, opposing the trend of cooperation, association and international integration, and can even promote the trend of war and invasion. Therefore, it hinders international exchange and cooperation, and undermines strategic trust between nations.
In each country, extreme nationalism and narrow-minded nationalism promote the local interests of each ethnic group, dividing solidarity and unity within the country. For example, in Vietnam, there are plots to incite ethnic minorities such as Mong and Khmer to abandon the common interests of the Vietnamese people to demand the establishment of a "separate state"... The purpose of inciting narrow-minded nationalism is to divide our country into many regions, areas, and autonomous regions of ethnic minorities that are not dependent on the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, but instead will be held by reactionary political forces. Encouraged and facilitated by hostile forces, extreme nationalists do not give up any means and tricks. At first, they will demand the restoration of political, economic, cultural, and social rights, then at a higher level, they will cause riots, overthrow, demand national autonomy, and finally demand secession to establish a separate state.

If this plot is successfully implemented, it will cause political and social instability, even create the risk of conflict, weaken the Vietnamese people from the perspective of nation-state and adversely affect the existence and development of 54 ethnic groups. Thus, extreme nationalism and narrow-minded nationalism are not only detrimental to the development of the nation as a nation but also detrimental to the existence and development of ethnic groups as ethnic groups.
Causing animosity and confrontation between countries
In international relations, external forces always seek to incite animosity between the Vietnamese people and surrounding countries in order to profit from it. It can be seen that in Vietnamese society, due to being poisoned by information on the Internet, a class of people is forming who are very prejudiced and narrow-minded when looking at and evaluating the peoples and countries with which Vietnam has foreign relations. According to their prejudiced and naive views, there are peoples and countries that are considered "evil", "should be abandoned", and must definitely be confronted. On the contrary, there are peoples and countries that are considered "good", "should be followed", and should be allies. During diplomatic events between Vietnam and China, there are always plots to sabotage, aiming to incite extreme and narrow-minded nationalist views and ideologies. Many people deliberately distort diplomatic events that are conventional and extremely good into hot issues, deliberately leading public opinion to the wrong and dangerous understanding that Vietnam is "dependent on China" and "selling out its sovereignty over its seas and islands to China". Socio-economic activities between Vietnam and China are an inevitable need, because China is a neighboring country with convenient transportation and is one of the two largest economies in the world. However, with such an obvious need, extreme and narrow-minded nationalists still deliberately do not understand, oppose and unreasonably demand that we must "escape China" both politically and economically.
On the occasion of the anniversary of the war to protect the northern border of the Fatherland, and the issue of protecting Vietnam's sea and island sovereignty, there have appeared on the Internet some wrong opinions that the war to protect the northern border has been forgotten. There are people who take advantage of this to distort and curse the government, thereby inciting public opinion.
It can be seen that the above arguments are completely wrong. Because looking at the history of Vietnamese dynasties, besides resolutely protecting sovereignty and territorial integrity, they all attach great importance to diplomatic relations and creating good relations with neighboring countries. Nowadays, the international relations environment is increasingly complicated, however, through that, we can clearly see the correctness of Vietnam's foreign policy with the "Vietnamese bamboo" diplomatic school, choosing the right, not choosing sides. The issue of national and ethnic interests is clearly stated in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress as: “Ensure the highest national and ethnic interests on the basis of the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter and international law, equality, cooperation, and mutual benefit. Continue to develop the country rapidly and sustainably; closely link and synchronously implement tasks, in which socio-economic development is the center; Party building is the key; cultural development is the spiritual foundation; ensuring national defense and security is essential and regular”.
Need to maintain a peaceful and stable environment for development
National interests are the goals that Vietnam always pursues to ensure its existence and development, including: Maintaining sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity; stabilizing the political regime; ensuring security and safety for the people; preserving national cultural identity; ensuring conditions for the country's socio-economic development, and the people's lives to be increasingly improved and enhanced... However, these benefits can only be fully achieved in a peaceful and stable environment.
It can be affirmed that our Party and State always pay special attention to information, propaganda and education work on historical events, including the fight to protect the northern border of the Fatherland and pay special attention to the issue of firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands. Information, propaganda and education always highlight the justice of the struggles to protect the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland; praise historical traditions, patriotism, heroism, self-reliance and the spirit of great national unity, contributing to consolidating and fostering people's trust in the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam; recognizing and expressing gratitude for the great contributions and heroic sacrifices of our army and people in the fights to protect the Fatherland.
However, the information and propaganda on the above issues are always cautious, ensuring the correct viewpoint of the Party and respecting history, not using history to incite extreme nationalism, not affecting the implementation of Vietnam's foreign policies and guidelines. The work of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands is always focused on resolutely and persistently but in accordance with the principle of ensuring the interests of the nation on the basis of the basic principles of international law; contributing to preserving and promoting friendly neighborly relations with neighboring countries.
With its special geopolitical position and remarkable economic and political development, Vietnam is becoming an important country in the region and the world. Therefore, every diplomatic move of Vietnam attracts the attention of the international community, especially in the context of the world falling into a geopolitical crisis, with strong polarization among the great powers. When the great powers increase pressure to attract allies, smaller countries are under a lot of pressure to choose sides. Only countries with certain potential, ingenuity and courage can balance the situation to ensure the interests of the country and the people.
Vietnam has gone through many wars, the people have shed much blood to fight for national independence and unification, so no one can forget the painful past, and we must never be negligent or lose our vigilance. However, that is why we need to cherish and preserve a peaceful and stable environment to build the country. The goal of "rich people, strong country" can only be achieved under conditions of peace, cooperation, and solidarity among ethnic groups for development. The conspiracy-theory information of anti-communist news sites and organizations is to incite ethnic hatred, incite extreme and narrow-minded nationalism, to disrupt the political situation and push Vietnam into a difficult situation. Therefore, everyone needs to be alert to clearly recognize the sinister plot and ambition to sabotage international relations and hinder the development of our country./.
