Parents in Nghe An stormed into school and assaulted a teacher

Social media has been spreading a clip recording the scene of a male parent in Quynh Luu (Nghe An) storming into the school and assaulting a female teacher right after school hours.

Leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Quynh Luu district ( Nghe An province) confirmed that the above incident occurred at Bac Thang village school (Tan Thang Primary and Secondary School).

According to initial reports, the incident occurred yesterday afternoon (April 28), after school, it was raining heavily and the wind was strong, so teachers and students stayed behind to take shelter from the rain and wait for their parents to pick them up. When they arrived at the classroom, the parent suddenly raised his voice and then attacked the teacher in front of many other teachers and parents. Despite someone trying to stop him, the man continued to beat people.

The male parent is Ha Van T. (whose child is in 4th grade at this school). The teacher who was assaulted is Nguyen Thi Kim N, homeroom teacher of the 3+4 combined class.

According to the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Quynh Luu district, after the incident occurred, the teacher and the school reported it to the police and the Tan Thang commune government. The authorities are working with relevant parties to clarify the incident. "The viewpoint of the Department of Education and Training of Quynh Luu is to clarify and strictly handle those who commit acts of violence and assault on teachers, ensuring a safe school environment," he said.

Previously, social media circulated a clip recording a scene of a man rushing into a classroom, shouting loudly, hitting a female teacher on the head with his hands, then continuing to drag her out of the classroom and continuing to assault her in the rain.
