Phu Tho inaugurated the Cultural and Art House with an investment of over 400 billion VND

On the morning of August 19, Phu Tho province held the inauguration ceremony of the Cultural and Artistic House with a total investment of more than 400 billion VND, this is one of the key projects on the occasion of the 80th National Day.

The Phu Tho Provincial Cultural and Art House project started construction in April 2022 at Hung Vuong Square, Viet Tri Ward, with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism as the investor. The total investment is 426 billion VND (100 billion VND from the central budget and 326 billion VND from the local budget).

The Phu Tho Provincial Cultural and Artistic House project is built on a total area of nearly 18,000m2, with a scale of 1,000 seats including 3 floors above ground, 1 basement, 1 roof floor and a total height of nearly 34m. Considered a grade II civil work, the Phu Tho Provincial Cultural and Artistic House is not only an architectural highlight in harmony with Hung Vuong Square, but also promises to become a large-scale, modern cultural and artistic activity center, meeting the increasing enjoyment needs of people and tourists.

Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huy Ngoc spoke at the ceremony.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huy Ngoc affirmed that the Provincial Cultural and Artistic House project is the result of the efforts and determination of the agencies, departments and branches, together with the support and companionship of the people of the Ancestral Land. This is a concrete action contributing to the realization of the determination of the Party Committee, Government and People of Phu Tho province in making culture truly become a solid spiritual foundation of society, an endogenous strength, a driving force for the rapid and sustainable development of the province.

The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province said that the Phu Tho Provincial Cultural and Art House was inaugurated at a historic moment: on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, which is also the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Culture - Information sector's establishment and development.

In particular, the project was chosen as the venue for the First Phu Tho Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, the most important political event of the province this year.

Inaugurated on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Culture - Information sector, the event is even more meaningful when placed in the context of the Party Committee and the people of all ethnic groups in Phu Tho province are striving to compete and aspire to rise up. The project is expected to become a new symbol for the cultural development stage of the Ancestral Land.
