Phu Tho: Groundbreaking of urban project to welcome the Provincial Party Congress

On September 25, in Phu Tho province, the urban project with an investment capital of nearly 4,600 billion VND was started, welcoming the 1st Provincial Party Congress scheduled to take place on September 29 and 30. This is one of the major projects in Phu Tho province, promising to be a highlight of the modern urban landscape.

The project is invested by a consortium of Tu Lap Construction Co., Ltd. and Song Hong Thu Do Group Joint Stock Company. According to the design approved for the first time in Decision No. 798/UBND-KTN dated March 6, 2020, adjusted for the second time in Decision No. 793/QD-UBND dated April 11, 2025 of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province. The Southeast Oasis City new urban area project has a scale of 64 hectares, with a total estimated investment capital of VND 4,572.8 billion (excluding VND 267 billion for site clearance compensation), on Hai Ba Trung and Vu The Lang streets, in the area of ​​Viet Tri and Thanh Mieu wards. The project will provide 947 residential plots including townhouses and villas on a total construction floor area of ​​458,873.1m2; including 407 townhouses and 140 unfinished villas, 400 plots of land for sale to people for self-construction; social housing land; commercial-service area; green parks; schools...

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong said that the Southeast New Urban Area Project with a scale of nearly 64 hectares is one of the important highlights in the planning of Viet Tri urban development in a modern and civilized direction. When completed, the project will create living space and services for more than 10,000 people, contributing to the completion of infrastructure and landscape, while enhancing the image of the Southeast gateway of Viet Tri urban area. Therefore, it is recommended that the consortium of Tu Lap Construction Co., Ltd. and Song Hong Thu Do Group Joint Stock Company must focus resources to implement on schedule, and soon start construction of the social housing project in the first quarter of 2026, in order to contribute to the province's social housing fund.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the investor and contractors to apply modern construction technology, ensure labor safety and construction quality, environmental sanitation, and limit impacts on people's lives.
