With the characteristics of a mountainous commune, over 81% of the population are ethnic minorities, so Xuan Dai commune has gradually concretized and effectively applied the ethnic policies of the Party and State into local practice, bringing about efficiency, fundamentally changing the face of the homeland.

Xuan Dai is a mountainous commune under the National Target Program for Socio -Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas. After merging 3 communes: Xuan Dai, Kim Thuong, Xuan Son, the local Party Committee and government have always paid attention to leading and directing the implementation of ethnic policies, and at the same time implemented many specific policies such as: Supporting the development of key agricultural and forestry products according to the linkage chain; mobilizing resources to invest in key infrastructure in the period 2021-2025.

The tea product "Suong Soi Xuan Son" of Mr. Ha Van Tam's family has been recognized as a 3-star OCOP product of the province.

Thanks to that, the appearance of the mountainous countryside has had clear changes. The socio-economic infrastructure is increasingly complete; health care and education are improved; the material and spiritual life of the people is gradually improved. Among them, many examples of good production and business have appeared, becoming the nucleus spreading in economic development such as Ha Van Tam, Ha Van Quynh... Each typical example is proof of the aspiration to rise up and develop sustainably of the locality. Along with that, the commune also focuses on mobilizing all resources and improving the efficiency of investment management, integrating programs and projects in the area to promote the overall and synchronous efficiency of capital sources; ensuring no overlap or duplication.

Currently, there are over 200 production and business households in the commune. Creating regular jobs for over 50 workers, consuming products for ethnic minorities, building and developing essential infrastructure for communes, villages, and hamlets with special difficulties, remote and isolated areas, actively participating in activities, contributing to ensuring social security, improving people's lives.

Xuan Dai commune is also known as the land of talented production and business households, daring to think and act. They have boldly applied scientific and technological advances to agricultural production, developed household economy, and created jobs for local workers. A typical example is the family of Mr. Ha Van Tam - Director of Xuan Dai Agricultural Service Cooperative with 32 members. The tea product "Suong Soi Xuan Son" has been recognized as a 3-star OCOP product of the province. Mr. Tam said: "I, along with 32 members of households in Xuan Dai, Kim Thuong, have focused on expanding the tea brand and establishing a cooperative and investing in large-scale machinery to serve the purchase and processing of tea for people right at the facility. At the same time, we guide tea care and support people to grasp scientific and technological advances to bring quality tea varieties to the market."

Amidst the majestic mountains and forests of Xuan Son National Park, the entrepreneurial story of Mr. Ha Van Quynh is a testament to the aspiration to rise from hardship. Mr. Quynh and his family boldly opened a Homestay right on their homeland. The Quynh Nga Homestay model not only welcomes many visitors each year but also creates jobs and brings stable income to many people in the village. Up to now, more than 10 other households have dared to change and build a community tourism model. New and effective economic models here have become an important driving force, contributing to changing the face of the countryside, gradually improving the lives of the people.

In addition, the commune effectively uses policy credit capital sources, in the direction of expanding the loan subjects to production and business projects to create livelihoods for people; ensuring policy credit capital sources for ethnic minority households, poor and near-poor households to develop production and business, create jobs, increase income, and improve life. Actively propagate and mobilize people to work in production, effectively implement loan capital sources, plants and breeds supported by the State, shift the structure of crops and livestock, apply new scientific and technological knowledge to production to increase productivity, product quality, stabilize life and develop household economy to escape poverty.

Ethnic people of Xuan Dai commune increasingly trust the leadership, management and administration of the local government, thereby joining hands to build cultural life, develop the economy and escape poverty sustainably.
