In recent times, Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province have implemented many practical forms of mutual support to help members and farmers overcome difficulties, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc.

After the recent flood caused by the storm, many rice fields of farmers in Hop Tien I village (Ngan Son commune) were flooded and collapsed. In this situation, Ms. Nong Thi Dap, Head of the Hop Tien I Farmers' Association, launched the movement "Help each other harvest rice after the storm" among all members and people.

Ms. Nong Thi Dap shared: In just a short time, the movement received enthusiastic response from many people in the village. Members and people together went to the fields to support the family of member Gia Tien Nghi to harvest the entire area of ​​fallen rice before it was damaged.

Touched by the support and assistance from the farmers, Mr. Nghi shared: Without the help of the villagers, my family would have suffered great losses. I am truly touched by the spirit of mutual love and support from everyone in the village.

Mutual assistance activities among members and farmers not only help reduce damage caused by natural disasters but also clearly demonstrate the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, a precious tradition of Vietnamese farmers. The movement of "helping each other harvest rice after the storm" of the Farmers' Association of Hop Tien I village is a typical example, contributing to strengthening the great solidarity of farmers and building increasingly sustainable new rural areas.

Across the province, Farmers' Associations at all levels have done a good job of supporting members and farmers. In the third quarter of 2025 alone, the Associations at all levels visited and helped 39 households of members and farmers in difficult circumstances with 691 working days, with a total cost of over 58.8 million VND.

In the first 9 months of 2025, the whole province visited and helped 2,706 working days for 111 member households and farmers in difficulty, with a total cost of over 103.8 million VND. Thereby contributing to improving the effectiveness of the Association's activities and strengthening the solidarity and mutual support in the farming community.

According to the assessment of the Provincial Farmers' Association leaders, the mutual assistance movements in the farming community have promoted practical effectiveness and contributed to enhancing the spirit of solidarity in the whole province.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Diep, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, emphasized: Mutual assistance and mutual support activities not only reduce the immediate difficulties for members and farmers but also strengthen solidarity, create collective strength for the whole association to firmly step forward in building new rural areas and developing the local economy and society.

Movements to help each other with workdays have been widely organized, from harvesting rice, harvesting agricultural products, repairing houses, to building rural roads. In addition, the association also provides material support, such as supporting plant seeds, fertilizers, and preferential loans, to help members maintain and develop production. Activities to visit and care for members in difficulty, especially the elderly, single women and policy families, are carried out regularly, creating community cohesion.

Discussing this content, Ms. Dong Thi Diem, President of the Farmers' Association of Ngan Son Commune, shared: We connect resources from the government, businesses and benefactors to support members. The movement of farmers supporting each other is constantly growing in scale, efficiency and practicality, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of members and farmers.

Through solidarity and mutual assistance activities, members not only overcome current difficulties but also contribute to enhancing the prestige of the association, consolidating the great solidarity of farmers and promoting local socio-economic development. The mutual assistance movement also educates members about the spirit of cooperation and sharing, raising legal awareness, organizational skills and collective work management.
