Closing a year of overcoming difficulties with great pride, although there are still many challenges, with new position and strength, with high determination, Phu Yen firmly believes that together with the country, we will develop strongly, speeding up the process of realizing the aspiration for prosperity.
Last year, Phu Yen achieved and exceeded 14/17 targets, of which the budget revenue was VND 5,451.3 billion, reaching 101.2% of the estimate, up 29.8% over the same period last year. Tourists to Phu Yen were nearly 4.1 million, reaching 120%, up 27.5% over the same period, gradually moving towards the goal of tourism becoming a spearhead economic sector. Through national cultural and sports events held locally, the position, image and people of Phu Yen have left many beautiful impressions in the hearts of tourists. The work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system has received special attention and achieved important results. The entire Party Committee has promoted the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; fulfilled the responsibility of setting an example for cadres and Party members, especially leaders of Party committees and authorities at all levels. The province is urgently implementing the Party's policies on innovation and reorganization of the political system "Straight - compact - strong - effective - efficient - effective". The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has also just issued a Directive on focusing on preparing good conditions for Phu Yen and the whole country to enter a new era - the era of national development.

Welcoming the New Year of At Ty 2025 with joy and pride, celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), which is also the last year in the 5-year journey of Phu Yen implementing the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. Under the glorious flag of the Party, promoting the achievements, with determination and aspiration for development, with affection, intelligence and responsibility for the homeland; the entire Party Committee, government and people of Phu Yen will strive to strive, concentrate all efforts to complete at the highest level the targets and tasks set out in the congress resolution, creating a premise for the successful implementation of the socio-economic development plan for the period 2026-2030, especially the successful organization of party congresses at all levels towards the 18th Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.
