One day in mid-July 2023, our group left Phan Rang - Thap Cham City and headed back to the mountainous commune of Phuoc Binh. After about 2 hours of driving on a winding mountain pass through lush, green forests, we arrived at the center of Phuoc Binh commune.
Located in the depression of Phuoc Binh National Park, Phuoc Binh commune has a cool climate and lush green trees. In recent years, the model of growing fruit trees combined with developing community-based tourism has been boldly invested by local people. According to comrade Pham Phung Bao Chau, Chairman of Phuoc Binh Commune People's Committee, currently, in the commune, there are about 60 stilt houses built for community-based tourism. In particular, with the efforts of local people and the provincial Department of Agriculture, 23 hectares of green-skinned grapefruit planted on a pilot basis in 3 villages: Gia E, Hanh Rac 2 and Bo Lang have been granted a growing area code (PB.32.02.01.001) by the Plant Protection Department ( Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development ) for official export to the United States. Being granted a growing area code not only opens the door for Phuoc Binh green-skin pomelos to access the world market, enhance their brand and economic value, but also creates favorable conditions to promote the development of community-based tourism to help people increase their income.

From Phuoc Binh Commune People's Committee, we moved to Chapi Community-based Village in Hanh Rac 2 Village to visit and experience. The road to the village is clean and beautiful concrete. Along the roads, people plant many types of flowers and trees to create a friendly and beautiful landscape. To support Phuoc Binh in implementing the Community-based Village model, Bac Ai District has recently coordinated with the Vietnam Community-based Village Association to advise and guide the selection of 10 households to implement the model stilt house model of the Raglai community in Hanh Rac 2 Village. The cost of building the stilt house comes from the provincial budget supporting 35 million VND/household, the counterpart fund of the people and the mobilized source from businesses. Arriving at Chapi Community-based Village, we took souvenir photos at the model stilt houses. Visiting and experiencing the direct picking and enjoying of fruits in the garden. In addition, when staying in the stilt houses, tourists can also enjoy local products such as black pigs, free-range chickens... served by the households doing community service at reasonable prices.
Our group stayed at TaGu Glamping Eco-Resort Phuoc Binh, part of Chapi Community Village. Here, we enjoyed local mountain and forest products such as: hill chicken, grilled stream fish, bep leaf soup, bamboo rice, grilled black pork, banana flower salad... prepared uniquely, eye-catchingly and deliciously by Raglai "chefs". In the evening, we participated in the "Back to Chapi" exchange with activities: Campfire, grilling agricultural products (potatoes, corn), enjoying the gentle dances of Raglai girls, the sound of Chapi zither, gourd flute, the deep and deep sounds of the Malay language performed by Chapi Community Village artisans. In the midst of the amazing Phuoc Binh mountains and forests, by the flickering campfire, visitors were excited to enjoy the performances, local specialty fruits and watch the night sky in the mountainous region. Everyone sat next to each other, chatting, immersing themselves in the vast and peaceful nature.
The evenings in Phuoc Binh are cool. Visitors can experience sleeping in tents or stilt houses, giving them a new feeling. The space here is quiet, so sleep comes faster and deeper.
At 5am, Phuoc Binh is a bit chilly, fog covers the mountains and forests, creating a magical beauty. Wake up after the rooster crows, take a deep breath to feel the scent of the forest. Early morning in Phuoc Binh, the air is fresh, cool, feeling relaxed, full of energy. When the sun rises, the fog gradually dissipates, another beautiful scene gradually appears. In the distance, on the hilltops, white clouds float, sparkling in the morning sunlight. This moment is quickly captured by "photographers" with smartphones, cameras and flycams. "Cloud hunting" has therefore become an interesting moment that many tourists, especially young people, "whisper to each other" to come to Phuoc Binh to enjoy and experience more and more.
In addition to the above-mentioned DLCCĐ sites and experiential activities, when coming to Phuoc Binh highlands, tourists inside and outside the province also have many other interesting options when visiting Pi Năng Tắc rock trap, a historical relic associated with the name of Armed Forces Hero Pi Năng Tắc, a son of the Raglai people; can also choose to visit, study, experience the ecological area of Phuoc Binh National Park... With a cool climate and many beautiful landscapes, recently, Phuoc Binh has also been an ideal destination chosen by many families and groups of young people as a place to camp, organize outdoor parties, bathe in streams, enjoy the fresh air on weekends at a low cost, with many experiences and especially "hunt" for many beautiful photos as souvenirs.
Ninh Thuan, a land of sunshine and wind, is blessed by nature with many wild and majestic landscapes. Besides the "famous" destinations such as: Vinh Hy Bay, Binh Son - Ninh Chu beach, Hang Rai, Hon Do, Nam Cuong sand hill, Mui Dinh sand hill... there is also Phuoc Binh, an interesting eco-tourism destination and a return to the "Chapi dream" with many differences that visitors from all over the world can consider to explore , study and experience when coming to Ninh Thuan homeland.
