Bach Mai Ward: Dialogue, grasping pressing people's issues

HNP - On the morning of October 22, the Bach Mai Ward Party Committee organized a conference to meet and directly dialogue between leaders of Party committees and authorities at all levels with the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and people in the ward in 2025.

At the Conference, delegates were informed about the socio-economic situation, political tasks of the ward in the third quarter of 2025, and key tasks in the fourth quarter of 2025. The conference is an opportunity for leaders of Party committees and authorities to directly listen to and grasp the thoughts, aspirations and recommendations of the people in the process of operating the two-level local government model.

At the same time, absorb people's initiatives, especially solutions and good practices so that the ward Party Committee and government can promptly add them to the groups of tasks and solutions to carry out socio-economic development tasks and Party building work, building the ward political system of each year and of the entire term of the first Ward Party Congress.

Comrade Tran Quyet Thang suggested that, after this dialogue, the leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of the ward, departments, offices and branches of the ward immediately start to seriously implement the issues discussed and agreed upon in the dialogue to promptly and effectively resolve the legitimate recommendations of cadres, union members, association members and people according to their authority, with a specific roadmap and prioritizing urgent issues.

For matters beyond the authority, the ward will report to the City to pay attention to removing difficulties and obstacles and direct early resolution. In particular, assign the ward People's Committee, agencies and units to develop a plan based on clearly assigning people and tasks, with a specific roadmap to focus on resolving issues reflected and recommended by the People and report the plan to the Party Committee Standing Committee for direction, inspection and supervision.

To improve the quality and effectiveness of dialogue activities, and bring dialogue activities between leaders of Party committees and authorities into order, comrade Tran Quyet Thang emphasized continuing to consider people as the center and subject in construction and development; serving people's lives is the goal and driving force in leading and organizing the implementation of tasks of Party committees and authorities at all levels.

The Party Committees, People's Councils, People's Committees of wards, heads of departments, branches, sectors of wards, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of wards need to increase contact activities, direct dialogue with cadres, union members, association members and people, listen to, grasp difficulties and problems to promptly have specific solutions to improve the quality of leadership and direction of Party committees; management and operation of the government; the quality of cadres, civil servants and public employees in performing public duties, especially in areas of regular contact with people such as performing public administrative services, receiving people; areas where petitions and grievances among people are likely to occur such as construction order, urban order, land management...

In addition to contact and dialogue, it is necessary to continue to perform well the work of receiving citizens periodically and suddenly; promptly resolve petitions, recommendations, complaints and denunciations of the people. Comrade Tran Quyet Thang requested the Ward People's Committee and Party Committees of residential groups to lead and direct the consolidation of the Mediation Team; at the same time, strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to resolve disputes and conflicts by themselves through mediation, effectively use village covenants and conventions in mediation work...

Party Secretary Tran Quyet Thang requested the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the ward and grassroots to proactively follow the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of the ward, continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, and implement activities and emulation movements associated with the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security of the ward. Strengthen supervision and social criticism activities, increase the quantity and quality of thematic supervisions; ensure close supervision of the organization of meetings, dialogues, and handling and resolving people's reflections and recommendations. Actively participate in contributing and proposing solutions in implementing the political tasks of the ward Party Committee, key contents according to the Resolution of the 1st Bach Mai Ward Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

In addition, regularly stay close to the grassroots, grasp the ideological situation and life of cadres, union members, association members and people to promptly advise the Party Committee and government on leadership, direction and have solutions right at the grassroots; contribute to strengthening the people's trust in the Party's leadership, and enhance the government's responsibility in serving the people.
