Also attending the Congress were comrades: Pham Thi To Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Nguyen Huu Tuyen - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee; Ho Thi Kim Thu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and 200 party members representing 1,684 party members of 46 affiliated grassroots party organizations.
With the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", delegates attending the Congress focused on discussing and comprehensively evaluating the results achieved in the past term, and at the same time proposed many key solutions to successfully implement the goals in the 2025-2030 term.
Accordingly, the Party Committee of Bong Son Ward strives to have over 90% of its subordinate Party organizations successfully complete their tasks and the Party Committee successfully complete its tasks or better. The rate of new Party members admitted each year is 3% or more compared to the total number of Party members at the beginning of the term. The growth rate of total product value in the ward is 13.1%/year.
By 2030, the economic structure of the ward is expected to be: agriculture-forestry accounting for 4.5%, industry-construction accounting for 61.1%, trade-service accounting for 34.4%; total budget revenue in the area reaching over 179 billion VND; total export turnover reaching 475 million USD; retail sales of goods and services 22,200 billion VND; there are 20 enterprises/1,000 people.
Speaking at the Congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Rah Lan Chung emphasized: In order to develop Bong Son ward quickly and sustainably as the Congress's theme, the ward Party Committee needs to continue reviewing and perfecting breakthrough socio-economic development targets; flexibly applying policies, creating strong changes in the fields of trade, services, urban areas, industry, and handicrafts.
In particular, effectively implementing the "four pillars" (including Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution 59-NQ/TW on proactive and extensive international integration; Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW on comprehensive innovation in law-making and enforcement; and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on strong development of the private economic sector) as a foundation, creating a strong driving force for Bong Son ward to steadily develop and integrate in the new era.
Along with that, strengthen national defense, ensure security and order, create a stable environment to serve socio-economic development.
Comrade Rah Lan Chung also suggested that the Party Committee of Bong Son Ward focus on building a clean and strong Party Committee in terms of politics, ideology, organization and ethics. Promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and lifestyle in conjunction with resolutions on Party building and rectification; improve the quality of Party cell activities, leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization. Continue to innovate and arrange the organization and political system towards streamlining, modernity, effective and efficient operations.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee believes that with the joint efforts of the entire political system, Bong Son ward will definitely successfully implement the Resolution of the 1st Ward Party Congress, bringing Bong Son to a breakthrough, rapid and sustainable development.
The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the appointment of the Party Executive Committee, the Party Standing Committee; the positions of Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and the Inspection Committee of the Bong Son Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Ward Party Executive Committee consists of 27 comrades; Comrade Vo Ngoc Binh was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Bong Son Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Previously, Comrade Rah Lan Chung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee came to offer flowers and incense at the Martyrs' Temple in Bong Son ward.
