Landslide in Dong Gia Nghia Ward affects houses and schools

On the afternoon of September 9, a serious landslide occurred in Dong Tien residential group, Dong Gia Nghia ward (Lam Dong), affecting houses and two nearby educational facilities, Dak Nong Community College and Quang Trung Primary School.

Immediately after receiving the information, local authorities quickly arrived at the scene to inspect and grasp the situation, at the same time put up danger warning signs and mobilized and supported households in the dangerous area to move to safety.

A new landslide occurred at Dong Tien residential area, Dong Gia Nghia ward on September 9.

Faced with the current complicated weather developments, the People's Committee of Dong Gia Nghia Ward recommends that organizations, households and individuals in the area regularly update and monitor information on storm forecasts, heavy rains, flash floods and landslides from the media, proactively share and promptly notify the community for prevention.

Local authorities have put up warning signs and encouraged some households to temporarily evacuate to safety.
