Dong Xoai Ward determined to effectively implement the 2-level local government model

Dong Xoai Ward was established on the basis of merging two administrative units, Tien Thanh Ward and Tan Thanh Commune, with a population of about 36,000 people in 15 residential areas.
According to the ward leaders, after a period of operation, the two-level local government apparatus has shown its advantages of being close to the people and serving the people. However, difficulties and obstacles in implementing the "non-territorial" model in handling administrative procedures in the land sector still exist; some civil servants are still confused due to being assigned new tasks. However, the ward's cadres, civil servants and public employees have clearly demonstrated their spirit of overcoming difficulties, determination to complete their tasks well, mastering their skills, meeting the requirements in the new development stage as well as serving the people and businesses well. From the initial difficulties, with the support of cadres, civil servants, public employees, associations and unions, local people have gradually become proficient in submitting documents online.

Attending the preliminary conference, Secretary of Tan Thanh 2 Ward Party Cell Vu Van Doan shared: "I see that the operation of the 2-level local government has brought many conveniences to the people, the service attitude of cadres, civil servants and public employees in handling administrative procedures is very good, solving many problems for the people".

With the results achieved after 1 month of implementing the 2-level local government model, in the coming time, Dong Xoai ward is determined to overcome difficulties and create a strong transformation in the new period. Along with that, the ward will invest in synchronous network connection infrastructure to ensure the information technology system in receiving and processing documents, determined to create an administration that is close to the people, transparent and effective.

Party Secretary and Chairman of Dong Xoai Ward People's Council Vu Van Muoi emphasized: "The ward will focus on striving to promote the results achieved. Continue to train cadres, civil servants and public employees to master the skills of serving and guiding people and businesses and continue to mobilize the strength of the Fatherland Front , associations, unions, especially young people to participate in training digital citizens, aiming for 15/15 cultural houses in the ward to become places to support people in digital transformation".
