Hoa Lu Ward organized incense offering and candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroes and martyrs.

On the evening of July 26, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Lu ward organized an incense offering and candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroes and martyrs at martyr cemeteries in the ward.

Leaders of Hoa Lu ward laid wreaths and offered incense at the martyrs' cemetery in the ward.

Currently in Hoa Lu ward there are 7 martyr cemeteries, 6 martyr memorials, which are the resting place of 884 martyrs who are children of the homeland.

At the ceremony, in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, delegates offered incense, flowers, lit candles and took a moment of silence to express gratitude, remembrance and deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who fell in the long resistance wars, the struggle for national liberation and reunification.

The candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs is an activity of profound humanistic significance, demonstrating the Vietnamese people's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" and "Repaying gratitude"; expressing gratitude for the great contributions and merits of previous generations, who did not spare their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the People.
