Hoa Thang Ward: Established 20 community digital technology groups and trained to deploy the movement "Digital literacy for the masses"

On the morning of October 16, Hoa Thang ward held a conference to announce the decision to establish a Community Digital Technology Team to support people in participating in digital transformation in residential groups in the ward and to train and deploy the movement "Digital Education for All".

Leaders of Hoa Thang Ward People's Committee presented the decision to establish community digital technology groups to representatives of residential groups in the ward.

At the conference, the leaders of the Ward People's Committee handed over the decision to establish 20 Community Digital Technology Teams with 188 members (each team has 7-10 members), including comrades in the residential groups: Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell; Head of the Front Work Committee; Head of the Women's Union; Head of the Veterans' Association; Secretary of the Youth Union; local police; militia team leader; retired cadres... The Community Digital Technology Teams have the functions and tasks of helping the Ward People's Committee implement the goals, tasks and solutions to build and develop digital government, digital economy , digital stores, electronic payments, digital society in the residential groups; strengthen propaganda work, deploy instructions for people to install and use online public services; access, install and use digital services to serve essential needs (such as health, education, social policies) through digital platforms.

Immediately after the conference, Hoa Thang ward organized a training course to deploy the movement "Digital Education for the People" with the theme "Online safety, working and studying with AI" for more than 200 cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers at agencies, units, unions, political and social organizations and a large number of people in the ward.

Lecturers impart knowledge about digital technology to students in the training class.

According to the plan, by 2025, Hoa Thang ward strives for 85% of cadres, civil servants and public employees to have basic digital skills; 100% of high school students to be equipped with digital knowledge and skills; 50% of adults to achieve digital literacy certification on the VneID platform.
