In the Appeal Letter, it is emphasized that: Over the past years, the Provincial People's Committee - Provincial Fatherland Front Committee would like to sincerely thank the agencies, units, localities, enterprises, cooperatives, philanthropists, religious organizations and all people inside and outside the province who have actively responded to the Emulation Movement "For the poor - No one is left behind", always paying attention and supporting the "For the poor" Fund of Cao Bang province, as well as supporting resources for social security work in the province.

From the mobilized funds of the Fatherland Front at all levels, together with the contributions of working days and materials from organizations and individuals, and the efforts of families, up to now, the whole province has supported the construction and repair of 6,064 houses for poor and near-poor households; given 13,645 gifts to the poor and poor students with good academic achievements; built schools, cultural houses, supported production development... contributing to reducing the poverty rate of the province by an average of over 4.2%/year, the material and spiritual life of the people has been constantly improved, and the appearance of the countryside has become increasingly prosperous.

Responding to the call of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, many units and organizations inside and outside the province supported the poor to build Great Unity houses.

However, currently, the whole Cao Bang province still has 25,995 poor households (accounting for 20.04%) and 19,767 near-poor households (accounting for 15.24%); there are still poor households and near-poor households currently living in temporary houses and dilapidated houses; many boarding schools in the province are degraded and have not been built or upgraded. Besides, in recent days, due to the impact of storms No. 10 and 11 and the post-storm circulation, there have been damages to people, property, and crops of the people, including poor and near-poor households. They are in dire need of support in all aspects from the State, the social community, and businesses inside and outside the province.

To continue effectively implementing activities to care for the poor in Cao Bang province, the Provincial People's Committee - Provincial Fatherland Front Committee calls on agencies, units, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, companies, enterprises, religious organizations, philanthropists and all people inside and outside the province to promote the spirit of solidarity, "mutual love", "helping each other", with their feelings and responsibilities, with the most practical actions, actively join hands to contribute, support both materially and spiritually, helping the poor in the province overcome difficulties, escape poverty, and stabilize their lives.
