More than 1 billion 627 million VND to support the Cuban people - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

According to the Provincial Red Cross Society, by October 23, 2025, the Provincial Red Cross Society received more than 1 billion 627 million VND in support of the Cuban people on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba (December 2, 1960 - December 2, 2025).

Responding to Plan No. 183/KH-CTD, dated August 18, 2025 and Appeal Letter No. 84/LKG-CTD on mobilizing support for the Cuban people on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba; provincial departments, branches, unions and Party Committees, People's Committees of communes and wards in the province organize propaganda to mobilize cadres, members, youth, Red Cross volunteers to actively participate in communication work of the campaign on social networking platforms, Charity App; propagate the meaning of the Campaign Program in the system of socio- political organizations, member organizations of the Fatherland Front, Department of Education and Training to spread to all classes of people, students the spirit of international solidarity and affection for the Cuban people. Deploying information and communication activities about the Program on Cao Bang Newspaper's multimedia media, contributing to strongly spreading the message "Vietnam - Cuba: Forever side by side in challenges - Sharing in hardships", "Always have Vietnam".

The Provincial Red Cross Society received funding to support the Cuban people from Nung Tri Cao ward.

As a result, by October 23, 2025, the Provincial Red Cross Society had received more than 1 billion 627 million VND in support of the Cuban people. Of which, more than 1 billion 617 million VND was directly donated to the Cao Bang Provincial Red Cross Society, and 10 million 500 thousand VND was transferred to account number 2022 of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society . Typically, officials, civil servants, public employees and people of Thuc Phan ward donated nearly 212 million VND, Tan Giang ward 147.4 million VND, Nung Tri Cao ward more than 123.6 million VND, Cao Bang Import-Export Joint Stock Company 70 million VND, Hoa An commune more than 60 million VND, Nguyen Hue commune more than 58 million VND, Ha Lang commune more than 56.2 million VND, the Provincial Police 50 million VND... The entire amount was transferred by the Provincial Red Cross Society to the Vietnam Red Cross Society according to regulations.
