Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung monitors and directs the Ministry of Justice.

(GLO)- On October 27, 2025, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 2369/QD-TTg on the assignment of tasks of Deputy Prime Ministers, including Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung.

Accordingly, the Prime Minister assigned Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung to oversee and direct the Ministry of Justice .

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung, on behalf of the Prime Minister, directly monitors and directs the following areas of work: Institutional development and the building of a socialist rule of law state; handling international disputes and complaints; approving investment policies and directing, inspecting, urging, and resolving issues arising from investment projects within his assigned areas of authority.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung serves as Chairman of National Councils and Committees, Head of Steering Committees, and Chairman of the Council for evaluating planning in relevant fields.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung performs other duties as assigned or delegated by the Prime Minister.

Earlier, on the morning of October 25th, at the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly, the National Assembly voted to approve the Resolution on ratifying the Prime Minister's proposal to appoint Comrade Ho Quoc Dung as Deputy Prime Minister for the 2021-2026 term.

Immediately afterwards, the Secretary of the Government Party Committee and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presided over the announcement of the Decisions appointing Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers for the 2021-2026 term and outlining key tasks to be implemented until the end of 2025.

Comrade Ho Quoc Dung was formerly the Secretary of the Binh Dinh (old) Provincial Party Committee and the former Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Ho Quoc Dung holds a Master's degree in Law; he previously worked at the Binh Dinh Department of Justice and as an internal affairs specialist at the Provincial People's Committee Office. He also served as the Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies.

While serving as Secretary of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Ho Quoc Dung also headed the Provincial Steering Committee for Judicial Reform. Under the decisive leadership of the Provincial Steering Committee for Judicial Reform, the province's judicial activities saw many positive changes, especially in modernizing the judicial system and resolving complex, difficult, and long-standing cases.
