(GLO)- On October 27, 2025, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 2369/QD-TTg on the assignment of tasks of Deputy Prime Ministers, including Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung.

Accordingly, the Prime Minister assigned Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung to monitor and direct the Ministry of Justice .

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung, on behalf of the Prime Minister, directly monitors and directs the following aspects of work: Institutional building, building a socialist rule-of-law state; Handling international disputes and complaints; Approving investment policies and directing, inspecting, urging, and handling arising issues of investment projects under his authority in assigned fields.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung serves as Chairman of the National Councils and Committees, Head of the Steering Committees, and Chairman of the Council for Appraising Planning in Related Fields.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung performs other tasks as assigned and authorized by the Prime Minister.

Previously, on the morning of October 25, at the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly, the National Assembly voted to pass a Resolution on approving the Prime Minister's proposal to appoint comrade Ho Quoc Dung as Deputy Prime Minister for the 2021-2026 term.

Immediately afterwards, Secretary of the Government Party Committee and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the announcement of the Decisions to appoint Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers for the 2021-2026 term and deployed key tasks until the end of 2025.

Comrade Ho Quoc Dung was former Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee (old), former Secretary of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Ho Quoc Dung has a master's degree in Law; worked at the Department of Justice of Binh Dinh, and was an Internal Affairs specialist at the Provincial People's Committee Office. He was also the Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

When he was Secretary of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Ho Quoc Dung was also the Head of the Provincial Judicial Reform Steering Committee. Under the strong direction of the Provincial Judicial Reform Steering Committee, the province's judicial activities have had many positive changes, especially in modernizing the judiciary and resolving complicated, difficult, and long-standing cases.
