Concentrating efforts to "accelerate" to open phase 1 of Dong Dang - Tra Linh expressway project before December 19, 2025 - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

To complete the first phase of the Dong Dang - Tra Linh expressway project before December 19, 2025 as planned, contractors are currently concentrating more than 3,300 workers and 1,487 pieces of machinery and equipment, simultaneously deploying 186 "acceleration" construction points on the entire route. Output reached 4,626.89/11,397.48 billion VND, reaching 40.6% of the contract value.

Taking advantage of the sunny weather after a long period of rain and floods, outdoor construction items of the Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway Project have increased human resources and machinery to make up for the progress.

The Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway Project has a total length of 121 km, divided into 2 phases with a total investment of nearly 23,000 billion VND, spanning Lang Son and Cao Bang. Phase 1 of the Project is more than 93 km long, including 2 tunnels through the mountains and 64 overpasses across the Ky Cung and Bang Giang rivers, along with countless streams and provincial roads. Before the deadline for opening the route in December, the entire Project aims to complete 10 million m³ of excavation and 7 million m³ of filling.

However, in recent times, two provinces: Lang Son and Cao Bang have experienced consecutive floods. Natural disasters have directly affected the progress and assets of investors and contractors, even though the contractors have increased their manpower and machinery by 1.5 to 2 times, as travel and construction conditions during the rainy season become difficult.

With less than 2 months before the December 19 deadline, Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy, General Director of Deo Ca Group, said: Investors and contractors are mobilizing maximum resources and machinery to speed up the implementation progress, all focusing on the goal of opening the Dong Dang - Tra Linh expressway project before December 19, 2025.
