Comrade Nguyen Manh Ha, Party Secretary, Chairman of Long Bien Ward People's Council, and comrade Hoang Hai, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee directly inspected and gave gifts to all people in the area.
Simultaneous implementation, transparent, right target
According to the People's Committee of Long Bien Ward, since the City's direction, the plan has been carefully prepared with the participation of 100% of the political system, from the ward to the residential groups. The gift payment was organized simultaneously at 37 points, ensuring publicity, transparency, fairness and timeliness.
According to regulations, the recipients of the gifts are Vietnamese citizens and people of Vietnamese origin whose nationality has not been determined but who have identity papers and have been assigned a personal identification number in the national population database before August 30, 2025. Each citizen will receive a gift worth VND 100,000 in cash or by bank transfer. For convenience, the gift giving is done by household, the head of the household or an authorized person will receive it on behalf of the members.
The working group of Residential Group No. 17, Long Bien Ward went to the room in CT2B apartment building to give "Independence Day" gifts to war invalid Dinh Van Duong.
Bustling atmosphere - Excited people
Long Bien Ward People's Committee organizes centralized payment from 1:00 p.m. on August 31 to September 1, 2025 at the cultural houses of residential groups and apartment lobbies. For those who are temporarily residing or have a current residence different from their permanent residence, the time will be extended from September 7 to September 15, 2025, after confirming that they have not received the gift at their permanent residence.
This arrangement not only helps people access conveniently, but also shows the care and thoughtfulness of the government, not letting anyone be left out.
At many payment points, a bustling, warm atmosphere spread throughout the residential area. People lined up neatly, eagerly waiting to receive meaningful gifts.
Long Bien ward residents excited to receive gifts on the occasion of "Independence Day"
Mr. Nguyen Van Thinh (resident group 12) emotionally shared: “Although the amount of money is not large, we feel the close care from the Party and the State. Receiving the gift right at the group's cultural house, the procedure is quick and simple, everyone is happy.”
Ms. Tran Thi Mai, a resident of CT2B apartment building, said: “Not only did we receive gifts, we also received support from the youth union members to install the VNeID and iHanoi applications. This is very practical, helping everyone raise their awareness of digital citizenship. This is truly a double gift = both gratitude and accompanying development.”
Spreading concern - Connecting trust
The program does not stop at material value but also contains great sentiment. Chairman of Long Bien Ward People's Committee Hoang Hai emphasized: "This is the concern, sentiment and deep gratitude of the Party, State, and Hanoi City for the people. The Ward People's Committee commits to organize thoughtfully and fairly, so that all people can clearly feel this concern."
Each gift package is small but carries a big message: the government not only accompanies, but also stands side by side with the people in every step. In particular, the enthusiastic participation of youth union members and residential group cadres has contributed to spreading the spirit of solidarity and community responsibility.
Permanent Deputy Secretary of Long Bien Ward Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Hang (standing in the middle) directly inspected the payment of "Independence Tet" gifts at the delivery points in the area.
In the glorious history of the nation, the August Revolution and National Day September 2 are always brilliant milestones, affirming the strength of great solidarity. Therefore, the gift-giving activity on this occasion becomes even more sacred, reminding today's generation of the tradition of "remembering the source of water when drinking".
"The gift is simple but full of affection, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the leadership of the Party and the care of the State. This is also the motivation for each Long Bien resident to continue to accompany and join hands to build the ward more and more civilized, modern, and prosperous...", the leader of Long Bien Ward People's Committee shared.
