The emulation movement in Nghia Lo ward does not stop at encouraging slogans, but has become a source of encouragement for each citizen to join hands, contribute, and continue the journey of innovation and development of the locality.

From July 1, 2025, Nghia Lo ward was established on the basis of merging 4 communes and wards: Tan An, Pu Trang, Nghia An, Nghia Son.
Nghia Lo - a land rich in cultural identity, where 14 ethnic groups such as Thai, Kinh, Kho Mu, Tay, Muong, Dao, Mong... live together. This is an important potential for the locality to develop a sustainable socio -economic situation.
In that colorful picture, the patriotic emulation movement is seen as the connecting thread, arousing the will, determination and spirit of solidarity in the community.
Mr. Vi Ngoc Trinh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Lo Ward shared: The patriotic emulation movements have really gone into depth, focused, arousing the spirit of creativity and solidarity of the people. From there, it has contributed practically to socio-economic development, building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and sustainable poverty reduction in the locality. The most prominent is the movement "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" with the joint efforts of businesses, philanthropists and the people themselves. More than 3 billion VND has been mobilized to build and repair 53 houses. The spacious houses not only have material value but are also symbols of the spirit of solidarity and "helping each other" spreading to every alley and village.
In the new, spacious house in Pu Trang residential group, Mrs. Lo Thi Hoa (62 years old) was moved: "Before, my family lived in a shabby house, which leaked every time it rained, and was cold and windy. Thanks to the ward's movement, now I have a solid, cozy house. I am very happy, feel secure and have more motivation in life."

If the newly built houses are proof of the spirit of sharing for the community, the activities of the organization clearly depict the youthful and enduring vitality of the emulation movement.
The Youth Union of Nghia Lo Ward has affirmed its pioneering role through many practical movements, such as: "Studying for a career tomorrow", "Creative Youth", "Youth protecting the country", "Youth volunteering". From here, youth start-up models in the fields of clean agriculture , trade services, information technology... have been and are being formed, creating more jobs and trust in the young generation.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Luyen - Secretary of the Ward Youth Union said: We, the youth, always determine that competition is not something big but starts from the smallest things, such as helping poor households harvest rice, rebuilding roofs for people after storms... It is the enthusiasm and pioneering spirit of the youth that has created a new atmosphere.

The Ward Women's Union has chosen to accompany its members through persistent activities, fostering family happiness and household economy. The movement "5 no, 3 clean" has become a familiar lifestyle spreading to every residential area.
Many savings and fundraising groups to support disadvantaged women are maintained regularly. Women who were only familiar with farming are now boldly accessing loans, learning new trades, participating in small businesses, contributing to helping their families escape poverty.
Ms. Hoang Thi Men, a member of the Women's Union of Nghia An residential group, shared: Thanks to the savings fund, I have capital to invest in raising pigs and growing vegetables. Not only is the family's economy better, but the living environment is also cleaner and the lifestyle is more civilized.
Together with many organizations and unions, the Ward Veterans Association continues to promote the qualities of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers” through the “Exemplary veterans” movement. They are not only the core force in maintaining security and order in residential areas, but also actively participate in economic development, becoming a reliable support for the younger generation to follow.

Another bright spot of the emulation movement in Nghia Lo ward is administrative reform. The ward People's Committee has launched the movement "Cadres, civil servants and public employees practice office culture", promoting the sense of responsibility, public ethics and administrative discipline.
People no longer have to wait long, previously cumbersome procedures have been simplified, shortening the processing time. This contributes to building the image of a government close to the people, for the people.
Ms. Tran Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Ward's Department of Culture and Society, affirmed: The officers and civil servants in the ward always uphold the spirit of scientific and neat work, with a close and dedicated attitude. All feedback and opinions from the people sent through the suggestion box located at the agency are promptly received and processed. This shows the satisfaction of the people, in which the level of "very satisfied" always reaches 100%.

Along with economic, cultural and administrative reform development, Nghia Lo ward pays special attention to ensuring security and social order. Movements such as “All people protect national security”, “Self-management of security, order and environmental sanitation”, “Traffic safety”, “Security cameras”… have been effective.
Self-governing groups, people's patrol groups, and the "School Safety" model are maintained regularly, becoming a shield to protect the peace of every street and residential area. People are not only the beneficiaries but also the subjects of that peace.
The movement “All people unite to build a cultural life” is still maintained, 90.7% of residential groups and 95% of families are recognized as cultural families. A typical example of the movement is to encourage people to move livestock barns away from their homes. The dilapidated barns right next to the kitchen have been replaced by a neatly planned, clean livestock area, both protecting the environment and ensuring the health of the community.

Villages and residential groups organize scoring and study tours with each other so that small examples can have a big impact. In particular, Nghia Lo ward has launched a model of "Promoting national cultural identity associated with new rural construction", encouraging people to preserve traditional values in parallel with modern development.

It can be seen that the emulation movements have brought about impressive figures: the average income per capita in 2025 is estimated to reach 42.5 million VND, the models of crop restructuring on rice land bring in revenue from 250 - 350 million VND/ha. This is the clearest proof of the effectiveness of the people's strength and the Party's will.
Mr. Dinh Anh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, said: In the period of 2025 - 2030, especially when implementing the two-level grassroots government model, Nghia Lo Ward will continue to thoroughly grasp Ho Chi Minh's thought on patriotic emulation. Movements will be deployed in a variety of ways, aiming at the goal of building a comprehensively developed ward, becoming a connecting center for the western region of Lao Cai province".

From specific daily activities in residential areas to work in the office, a large emulation movement has been created in Nghia Lo ward. This is not only a preparation to welcome the Lao Cai Provincial Party Congress, but also a sustainable foundation for future development.

In the common melody of Lao Cai province bustling towards the Congress, Nghia Lo ward has been contributing a note of will, solidarity, creativity and belief - belief in a new journey, where Nghia Lo strives to become a vibrant connection point in the western region of Lao Cai province.
