Vinh Chau Ward launched environmental sanitation campaign

(CT) - On the morning of August 24, Vinh Chau Ward People's Committee coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the ward's mass organizations to launch a campaign to collect waste and clean up the environment in the area.

The forces coordinated to collect waste, protect and maintain environmental sanitation in the area.

Accordingly, cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, union members and youth have mobilized to clean up roads, public areas, and plant trees for a bright - green - clean - beautiful living environment. Focus on handling environmental pollution caused by the use of plastic packaging and nylon bags, hazardous waste. Organize garbage collection, clear drainage, thereby creating awareness for the community in protecting the living environment. Provide guidance on the collection and treatment of waste in residential areas, ensure the arrangement of trash bins, classification, collection and treatment of waste according to regulations, and prevent waste in residential areas from polluting the environment. Arrange public trash bins in residential areas, markets, bus stations, schools and parks.

Promote propaganda, popularize the law, guide people to implement environmental protection measures and mobilize people to actively participate in the movement "Sunday of action for green environment, for family and community health" with all levels, sectors and localities. Propagate and mobilize people to commit and voluntarily and actively maintain environmental hygiene in the house, alleys, residential areas, public areas, do not litter, throw garbage indiscriminately, dump garbage in the right place, at the right time. Gradually change habits and awareness to protect the green environment as if protecting one's own life.

This is one of the activities carried out by Vinh Chau ward to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
