PTSC M&C awarded White Lion Project – Phase 2B

Recently, Cuu Long Joint Operating Company (CLJOC) officially issued a Letter of Award to PTSC Marine Mechanical Services Company Limited (PTSC M&C) to implement the EPCI General Contractor package for the White Lion Project - Phase 2B in Block 15-1, offshore Vietnam's continental shelf.

The Letter of Award for the White Lion Project – Phase 2B marks a new milestone in the sustainable and strategic partnership between CLJOC and PTSC M&C. This is the next project in the Lion Cluster (Block 15-1) that CLJOC has trusted to award to PTSC M&C, following the great success of previous projects such as Black Lion, Brown Lion, LTPTP White Lion, Southwest Golden Lion and White Lion – Phase 1. The White Lion Project – Phase 2B is of key importance in ensuring a stable gas supply for the Southeast region, especially in the context of declining output from existing mines.

The scope of work of the White Lion Project – Phase 2B includes the items of Design, Procurement, Fabrication, Transportation, Installation, Connection, and Testing for a central technology platform with a superstructure weighing more than 6,500 tons and a base weighing about 5,000 tons. The estimated contract value can be up to more than 10,000 billion VND.

The award of the White Lion Project - Phase 2B once again affirms PTSC M&C's outstanding capacity as a general contractor for complex, highly technical oil and gas projects. This is not only a testament to CLJOC's trust but also an important milestone, consolidating PTSC M&C's pioneering position in the domestic oil and gas industry.
