These days, the gift market for the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20th has entered its peak period. According to a survey on gift trading streets in Thanh Sen ward, the products are diverse in design and price segment following the trend of simplicity and practicality.

In addition to traditional gifts such as fresh flowers, teddy bears, many gift models such as scarves, fashion accessories, cosmetics... are also chosen by many people. These products are eye-catching, modern in design, reasonably priced, come with boxes, gift bags and cards, so they are popular with many customers.
Ms. Duong Thi Tra My (Thanh Sen ward) shared: "Usually in previous years, I would buy fresh flowers to give to my mother. However, fresh flowers quickly wither, the whole family can only take a few pictures and then have to throw them away, which is quite a pity. Therefore, this year, I consulted and decided to buy my mother a scarf because it has high usage value, reasonable price and beautiful packaging."

This year, with the changes in customer needs, psychology and tastes, the consumption of gift items for October 20th tends to fluctuate significantly. Customers not only pay attention to aesthetics but also pay special attention to the cost of gifts.
In addition to beauty products or essential items, fresh fruit basket sets and imported fruits priced from 150,000 - 1 million VND are also trusted and chosen by many customers.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Tu, owner of Tu Anh fruit shop (Le Duan street, Thanh Sen ward) said: "On the occasion of October 20 this year, the number of fruit basket orders increased significantly. Customers can choose their favorite fruit to make trays or baskets..."

Similarly, in cosmetics stores, accessories, gift items are also designed in a convenient way, suitable for many people's budget. To promote sales, many stores have designed additional models of bags, bows, cards according to customers' requests along with many promotional programs, fast shipping.
"Gifts that emphasize practical value and are closely related to daily life are gradually replacing luxurious, formal gifts. Customers are becoming more practical and sophisticated in the culture of gift giving," said Ms. Mac Thi Linh Dan - Store Manager of Co Mem store (Hai Thuong Lan Ong street, Thanh Sen ward).

Although the October 20 market this year is not too explosive, the shift in shopping habits shows that consumers are increasingly paying attention to the emotional value and meaning of gifts rather than the form. This reflects the smart consumption trend of people. Because the most meaningful gift is the gift that the recipient uses and finds useful and practical in life.
