Implementing the direction of the Military Region 1 Command, units: Division 3, Division 346, Brigade 382, ​​Brigade 210; Military Commands of the provinces: Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang and Lang Son... mobilized tens of thousands of officers and soldiers along with many mechanical vehicles: military trucks, excavators, high-capacity pumps... to focus on helping people in the most urgent places, deep flooded areas, serious landslides, to support people in cleaning mud, clearing water flows, repairing houses, schools, medical stations, restoring roads, electricity systems, domestic water and damaged public works.

Military medical teams promptly dispensed medicine, provided free medical examination and treatment, provided advice on disease prevention, and sprayed disinfectants after floods.

The Military Region 1 Command has established working groups led by the Commander of the Military Region 1 Command, to directly go to heavily affected areas such as: Phan Dinh Phung Ward, Quan Trieu (Thai Nguyen Province); Tan Tien, Trang Dinh, That Khe Commune (Lang Son Province); Tien Luc, Hop Thinh, Tam Tien, Xuan Luong Commune ( Bac Ninh Province)... to inspect and direct the work of overcoming the consequences, and at the same time visit and encourage the affected families.

The working groups presented hundreds of gifts including essential necessities such as: bottled water, dry food, rice, clothes, blankets, school supplies, etc. with a total value of hundreds of millions of VND, contributing to sharing difficulties with people in flood-affected areas.

Units of the armed forces of Military Region 1 continue to maintain standby forces, closely coordinate with localities to monitor weather conditions, and be ready to respond to subsequent natural disasters; at the same time, step up propaganda work, motivate people's spirit, and strengthen the national defense posture.
