Preventing corruption, waste and negativity in the entire army

On October 10, the Central Military Commission held a conference to review the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity during the 13th Party Congress in the Party Committee of the Army. Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, and Deputy Minister of National Defense chaired the conference.

The Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense have thoroughly grasped, deployed, and seriously implemented the Party's resolutions, directives, and regulations, and the State's laws on preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity identified during the 13th Party Congress and the Resolution of the 11th Military Party Congress; promptly issued resolutions, directives, programs, plans, regulations, and leadership and direction regulations in each important field of work that are close, correct, and appropriate to the situation and tasks of the army, serving as a basis for deployment and unified implementation throughout the army.

Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong requested that in the coming time, Party committees, Party organizations, and commanders at all levels continue to organize, disseminate, and effectively implement the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity; regularly review, revise, and supplement the system of leadership regulations and commanders' regulations to create a legal corridor in leading, directing, and operating agencies and units; and identify the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity as a content in the regular leadership resolutions of Party committees.

Party committees and commanders of agencies and units need to continue to lead and direct the promotion of propaganda work; build self-awareness and high unity of will and action among cadres and party members, first of all, the exemplary and decisive role of leaders.

The prosecution agencies and functional agencies under the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense need to strengthen coordination, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, and speed up the settlement of corruption, waste, and negativity cases.
