
At the conference, 100% of delegates agreed on the structure and number of candidates recommended.
According to the distribution of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the total number of elected provincial National Assembly deputies is 19 deputies.
Of which, 9 delegates were introduced by the Central Government; 10 delegates resided and worked locally by provincial agencies and organizations out of a total of 38 candidates. For the 16th Provincial People's Council delegates elected, there were 85 delegates out of a total of 157 candidates.

The planning of the structure, composition and allocation of the number of candidates is carried out according to the principles of democracy, fairness and transparency, with emphasis on the quality of human resources.
Consultation work is an important step to unify the structure and list of candidates, thereby establishing a preliminary list and official list of candidates for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.
According to regulations, consultations are conducted three times to ensure the selection of exemplary people with sufficient qualities and abilities. The election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

According to comrade Mai Van Tuat, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term is an important political event of the country; a broad democratic activity among the people to promote mastery, select exemplary and worthy people, representing the will, aspirations and mastery of the people.
In recent times, implementing the Central Government's directives and guidelines, the province has issued many leadership, directive and guidance documents on election work, so that all levels and sectors in the area can thoroughly grasp and implement them. Up to now, the work is being carried out in accordance with the regulations and the set time schedule.
In his role as chair of the consultation, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee requested the delegates to promote democracy, objectivity and responsibility in discussing and contributing to the proposed structure, composition and allocation of personnel. The delegates need to consider and agree to unify the structure and number of candidates for the National Assembly and People's Council to ensure broad and reasonable representation, in accordance with the requirements and tasks of the country and the province.
Thereby, contributing to improving the quality of delegates, together with the political system of the province, building Ninh Binh by 2030 to become a centrally-run city with the characteristics of a millennium heritage urban area.
