According to the plan, the exercise will take place in the fourth quarter of 2025, focusing on the following contents: Changing combat readiness status, organizing force mobility, coordinating defense operations; handling complex situations on the border and in defense areas; coordinating between armed forces with local Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, and organizations in performing military and defense tasks.

In his speech assigning tasks, Major General Nguyen Dang Khai emphasized: This is one of the key contents to improve the quality of training, combat readiness, and meet the requirements of military and defense tasks in the new situation. The pilot exercise is not only to test and evaluate the leadership and command capacity of military agencies and Border Guards, but also an opportunity to train and improve the qualifications and bravery of officers and soldiers at all levels.

The Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 2 also requested the PTKV 3 - Mai Son Command, the Son La Provincial Military Command and the Lai Chau Provincial Border Guard Command to uphold the sense of responsibility, thoroughly grasp the directives and plans of the Military Region; build determination, promote collective intelligence; at the same time, do a good job of preparation and training according to the motto "basic, practical, solid", ensuring absolute safety for people and weapons and equipment.

Representatives of the commanding units assigned to the task affirmed that they would promote a sense of responsibility, high determination, carefully prepare all aspects, organize the exercise according to plan, achieve the set goals and requirements, and serve as a basis for Military Region 2 to learn from experience. At the same time, they expressed that this is also an opportunity to practice and improve the command organization level and combat coordination capacity of officers and soldiers, strengthen the solidarity relationship between the army and people at the border and defense areas, contributing to consolidating and improving the overall strength and combat readiness of the armed forces, maintaining sovereignty , national border security and the all-people national defense posture in the defense areas.
