In order to inspect and evaluate the actual combat operations and the advisory capacity of military agencies for local committees and authorities after the merger and reorganization, on August 4-5, in Da Nang, Military Region 5 organized a combat readiness training for the Provincial and City Military Commands; Border Guard Command, and KVPT Command in 2025.

Implementing the 2025 combat training order of the Commander of Military Region 5, the SSCĐ status transition exercise was connected directly and online to 32 connection points at agencies and units. Monitoring and directing the training session, Colonel Phan Dai Nghia, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Military Region, emphasized that this is an important content for officers and commanders of agencies and units at all levels in the Military Region's Armed Forces to grasp the principles, operational capabilities and improve organizational skills, command methods, and coordination in transitioning to combat readiness status, transferring tasks, activities, and forces of the unit from regular status to combat readiness status to carry out tasks within certain time conditions... Thereby, promptly correcting shortcomings, improving the effectiveness of staff work of the Armed Forces in defense situations, meeting mission requirements in the new situation, not being passive and surprised in any situation.
