Military Region 5 improves combat readiness of armed forces

In order to inspect and evaluate the actual combat operations and the military agency's advisory capabilities for local committees and authorities after the merger and reorganization, on August 4-5, in Da Nang, Military Region 5 organized a combat readiness training for the provincial and municipal Military Commands; the Border Guard Command, and the KVPT Command in 2025.

Implementing the 2025 combat training order of the Commander of Military Region 5, the SSCĐ status transition exercise was directly and online connected to 32 connection points at agencies and units. Entering the exercise, immediately after receiving the order to transition to combat readiness status and notification of the enemy situation, the presiding officer and agencies of the units fully and in order carried out the steps according to regulations.

Monitoring and directing the training session, Colonel Phan Dai Nghia, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Military Region, emphasized that this is an important content for officers and commanders of agencies and units at all levels in the Military Region's Armed Forces to grasp the principles, operational capabilities and improve organizational skills, command methods, and coordination in transitioning from combat readiness to combat readiness to carry out tasks within a certain time frame. Thereby, promptly correcting shortcomings, improving the effectiveness of the Armed Forces' staff work in defense situations, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation, and not being passive and surprised in any situation.
