Many conveniences

Ms. Cao Thi Huynh Nhu - Front official, in charge of farmers in Khanh Vinh commune, said that in the past, the management of farmer members was mainly done by recording records on paper, then entering data into the computer. Whenever changes were needed, the officials in charge had to go to farmer members to discuss, collect, supplement, and edit, which took a lot of time. Not to mention that the process of collecting data from hundreds of members manually was sometimes erroneous, and the ability to synthesize, evaluate, and retrieve data was very difficult. These limitations were overcome when the Farmers' Association   The province has deployed software to manage farmers' associations, especially convenient for quickly collecting, changing, and adding member information; replacing paper books, automatic summary reports, easy to update...

Farmers' association management software interface.

Similarly, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Bich Chinh - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, President of the Farmers' Association of Trung Khanh Vinh commune said that instead of having to store information manually as before, leading to data being scattered, difficult to control and easily lost, the software helps Farmers' Associations at all levels manage member information in a centralized, transparent and easy-to-look-up manner. In particular, each member has a separate electronic profile, including full personal information, the process of participating in association activities, movement activities, achievements, etc.

According to the leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association, implementing the policy of the Central Association on strengthening the development, management and improvement of member quality, in 2023, the Provincial Farmers' Association and the VNPT Khanh Hoa Business Center coordinated to deploy software to manage farmer members in Khanh Hoa province. After building accounts for leaders of the Farmers' Association at all levels, up to now, 112,247/113,505 members have had their information updated into the software, reaching 98% (the software is only deployed in the old Khanh Hoa province, so the number of members and farmers updated into the software is from the old Khanh Hoa province).

Initial assessment shows that the software has contributed to ensuring smooth information for the management, operation and direction of the association in general and the management of members in particular, helping to effectively manage member records. At the same time, the software also facilitates the provision of member information to implement Project 06, between the Farmers' Association and the social insurance agency in providing data on health insurance participation and moving towards voluntary social insurance for members and farmers.

Keep improving

Recently, the Provincial Farmers' Association has worked with VNPT Khanh Hoa to discuss and agree on a plan to coordinate in updating, adjusting and supplementing the software for managing cadres and farmer members, ensuring compliance with the 2-level local organizational model. Accordingly, in addition to the conveniences, the software still has limitations that need to be improved, overcome and supplemented, such as: Assigning too many rights to commune-level farmers' association accounts leads to the impact of entering information into the system, causing incorrect association organization data; some commune-level farmers' associations have not entered complete member information data; deleting or transferring members to other association facilities has not been implemented; quick lookup of member information has not been used, and this software cannot be used to make membership cards for new members, etc.

The software helps manage members and farmers scientifically and conveniently, meeting digital transformation requirements.

According to statistics, the province has about 165,000 members and farmers. However, this number will change a lot, both in terms of quantity and member information. Therefore, the software provider will coordinate to support updating, adjusting and establishing new accounts and 48 commune-level farmer associations, to be completed in July 2025; the management and granting of rights to the association organizations belongs only to the Provincial Farmers' Association. The above limitations related to farmer member information will also be improved...

According to the leader of the Provincial Farmers' Association, along with perfecting the software in the direction of optimizing the user interface, adding utilities to serve management work, expanding integration with other data systems to improve the effectiveness of practical application, the Provincial Farmers' Association will focus on updating information on farmer members of 48 communes across the province, serving management work, as well as reflecting the current situation of members and farmers.
