In 2024, the People's Committee of Quang Dien district focused on directing and implementing quite well the goals and tasks of socio-economic development, and most of the main socio -economic targets met or exceeded the set plan.

The types of services developed are increasingly diverse and rich with the number of tourists visiting the district estimated at nearly 160,000 (exceeding 70% of the target compared to the plan). Revenue from tourism services in 2024 is estimated at nearly 38 billion VND (6.15 times higher than the previous year).

State budget revenue in the area is estimated at 634,186 billion VND (equal to 92.63% of the estimate); local budget expenditure by October 23, 2024 is 993,153 billion VND (reaching 143.16%); average income per capita is estimated at 56.7 million VND.

After listening to the report of the People's Committee of Quang Dien district and the opinions of the members, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan shared the difficulties the locality encountered in the process of implementing programs and projects in the field of science and technology.

At the same time, it is recommended that the locality pay attention to the project of developing cultural districts, investing in developing services in some key areas; strengthening incentive policies to attract investors; having orientation and vision in planning the transport infrastructure system; focusing on implementing and concretizing the Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council to achieve high results in the coming time.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Economic and Financial Committee, requested Quang Dien to focus on accelerating the progress of completing and approving plans; disbursing capital for 3 national target programs, focusing on solutions to further enhance the value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production; actively implementing solutions to protect the environment and respond to climate change; and implementing the project to build a cultural district.
