Recently, a famous milk tea brand with dozens of stores in Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces announced its closure, leaving many customers regretful.

Hot&Cold, a famous milk tea and skewer brand that has been around since 2011, has just announced the closure of all its branches. On its official fanpage with nearly 300,000 followers, the shop opened the announcement with these emotional lines:

"Farewells are always choked up and difficult to say. But today, we have to say goodbye. Over the past 14 years, this is the most difficult letter Hot&Cold has ever sent to you. Today, with all our respect, we would like to announce: Hot&Cold will stop operating, officially ending its journey on June 30, 2025."

Hot&Cold is a familiar milk tea brand to many people, especially students.

In the farewell announcement, the brand said that from a small store, Hot&Cold has grown to more than 65 branches nationwide, at times reaching more than 80 locations - present in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Can Tho, My Tho, Ben Tre , Da Nang... The brand has served billions of cups of milk tea and become part of the memories of many generations of customers.

"We would like to bow our heads to thank you - the wonderful customers who have accompanied us throughout the journey. If there has ever been anything that has upset you, please allow us to sincerely apologize. Every cup of milk tea, every story, every smile of yours... are memories that we will carry with us forever," the announcement also told customers.

Regular customers regret the farewell of their favorite milk tea shop.

Although the announcement was made late on the evening of May 31, the post quickly received more than 30,000 likes, comments and shares on social media platforms. Many people expressed surprise and "disbelief" when their familiar restaurant suddenly said goodbye.

Besides, some people also recalled memories with this milk tea shop and made appointments to support it during its remaining days of operation.

"I spent all my childhood here. Goodbye shop, I will miss you a lot!", commented Phan Nhat Minh. "Why? You guys are still doing well! Why are all the Vietnamese milk tea brands closing down one by one? So sad!", shared user Tran Thu Thu.

"I remember when I had my semester exams, I came here every day with my best friend to study," Tran Huu Tai recalled memories of the shop. Tuyet Linh regretted: "It makes me so sad to read this, even though I haven't had milk tea for a long time, I still really like drinking milk tea at Hot&Cold.

Sharing with Thanh Nien , Ms. Ngoc Thao (34 years old) living in District 8 said that for many years, the Hot & Cold milk tea branch has always been her family's priority destination when they have free time, mainly on weekends because her children like to drink milk tea and eat snacks here.

This morning, when she heard the news that the shop was closing, she was "shocked" because this was also a familiar shop, associated with many memories of the family. She said that in the coming days, her family will visit the shop to support it in its final days of operation.
