Central Military Commission visits and presents gifts to Colonel, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Huynh Tri

On the afternoon of July 20, a working delegation of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense visited and presented gifts to Colonel, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Huynh Tri, former Political Commissar of the An Giang Provincial Military Command, currently residing in Phu Hoa 1 Hamlet, Binh Hoa Commune (An Giang Province).

Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense , headed the working delegation.

Joining the delegation were Major General Doan Quang Hoa, Director of the Department of Social Policy, General Department of Politics ; Major General Nguyen Minh Trieu, Deputy Commander of Military Region 9; leaders of the An Giang Provincial Military Command and the Binh Hoa commune government.

At the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong kindly asked about his health and life and expressed his deep gratitude for the contributions of comrade Huynh Tri in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland, especially in the work of searching for and collecting the remains of martyrs who died during the resistance wars and performing international duties in Cambodia.

Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong hopes that comrade Huynh Tri will continue to promote the noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, be a shining example for the younger generation to learn and follow; at the same time, continue to contribute enthusiastic opinions, contributing to the work of educating revolutionary traditions and building a strong national defense in the locality.

Receiving the delegation, Colonel Huynh Tri expressed his deep gratitude for the attention of the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 9 and the locality. Hero of the People's Armed Forces Huynh Tri emphasized that he will continue to follow and encourage the activities of the local armed forces and share experiences and traditional stories with the younger generation of officers and soldiers.
