Quang Anh attracts attention when kissing a strange dancer on stage

Episode 2 of the Talent Rendezvous program brought many interesting performances. With the theme Who am I , Quang Anh performed the song Say mot lanh mat (Say mot lanh mat) which he composed himself.

Singer Truc Nhan highly appreciated the clever way Quang Anh used his acting strengths to tell a musical story on stage. He praised the performance's staging: "The idea is clear, concise, and easy to understand. Quang Anh is very suitable for stage scenes. He has everything, just needs time to succeed."

Regarding the songwriting expertise, Ho Ngoc Ha frankly commented that the song Say mot lanh mat has emotions, but to leave a deeper impression on the listener, it needs a "key line" - a valuable lyric or a prominent melody to become the highlight.

In response to this suggestion, Quang Anh humbly accepted it and promised to pay more attention to the next songs.

Not only the judges, MC Anh Tuan also expressed surprise at Quang Anh's "versatility" on stage: "This performance has all the elements of singing, rapping, acting, and even dramatic interactions with his co-star. This is a truly multi-talented artist."

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Quang Anh said that after listening to the demo, musician Ho Hoai Anh - the program's music director - agreed to let him perform this song at the competition night and directly support the arrangement and arrangement of the accompaniment.

The song was written by Quang Anh from the true emotions he experienced, it is the mood of a guy who cannot forget his ex.

One night drinking at a bar, drunkenness made him accidentally meet the eyes of a strange girl, those eyes made him recall his old love. The old love came back without being invited, emotions surged, but when he sobered up, he returned to the lonely reality...

"This is a familiar, sad, but also very beautiful story. I want to put that emotion into music in the most honest way," Quang Anh said.

Mentioned a lot because of the kissing scene on stage, Quang Anh affirmed: "The kissing scene or any effect is just a shell to help the audience go deeper into the story. I just hope they remember the song, and feel what I convey."

According to Quang Anh, everything was in the script. "At that time, I just wanted to sing well, not forget the lyrics, not make any mistakes. I really had no emotions in that scene, because I was so nervous," he revealed.

Regarding the opinion that "artists have many tricks", Quang Anh confided: "If we call it a trick, it is a trick to serve the song. I simply think that if the song needs dancing, I will dance, if it needs rapping, I will rap, if it needs acting, I will act. As long as I bring a well-prepared and emotional performance."

He also said that in the program, many contestants invested extremely elaborately, from large dance troupes to magnificent stage props. "That is what makes me appreciate the opportunity to stand on stage even more and always want to bring the most serious and dedicated things possible," Quang Anh added.

The male singer also revealed that the rap part of the song was written on the morning of the performance and the rehearsal only took place in one session. He said: "I really wanted to add a dance part with dancers, but time was so tight that I had to cut it out."

Notably, in both of the first two competition nights of Talent Rendezvous, Nguyen Quang Anh always had a special "cheerleader" - actress Bao Han - his close co-star in the movie Come Home, My Child.

Not only was Bao Han present at the studio to cheer him up, she also publicly supported Quang Anh many times, making fans excited about the strong friendship of the couple who once caused a stir on the small screen.

Nguyen Quang Anh (born 2000) was born and raised in Hanoi . He became widely known to the audience when he played the role of Bao in the hit TV series Come Home, My Child.
